English pronunciation is like this
Description
Book Introduction
The beginning of confidence in English is pronunciation!
Why can't I understand pronunciations that everyone else understands? I lack confidence in my pronunciation, and even when I speak like a native speaker, why can't others understand? It's because my pronunciation, the foundation of English and the source of my confidence, is weak.
So, should I just imitate the sounds of native speakers? Should I look at the AAT (American Accent Training) book, considered the pinnacle of pronunciation books? This book, written for native speakers, is of no help to Koreans.
Koreans need a book that understands Korean pronunciation and can help them solve their unique pronunciation problems.
An English pronunciation book that anyone can follow and see immediate results, presented by Korea's top pronunciation expert, Kevin Kang.
Your confidence in pronunciation and, by extension, your confidence in English will increase.

Publisher's Review
If any of the following apply to you, it's time to start working on your pronunciation again right now.
-[i:] is the long pronunciation of the Korean word 'i', and [i] is the short pronunciation of 'i'.
-When [k, p, t] comes after s, such as in -sky, spoon, and stop, it must always be pronounced as aspirated sound.
-If you don't pronounce water as 'Worer' and Internet as 'Innernet', it doesn't seem like you're pronouncing it correctly.
-We all pronounce the underlined sounds of pleasure, change, and Zack as 'ㅈ'.
A pronunciation expert will give you accurate information from a Korean perspective.
Korean and English have different ways of pronouncing sounds.
That is, native speakers are experts at pronouncing their own sounds, but they cannot pronounce the subtly different sounds of Korean, and so they cannot explain to Koreans how to pronounce English sounds correctly.
The author is a native Korean who studied English phonetics and is well aware of the pronunciation characteristics of Koreans.
So, I'm going to kindly tell you how to pronounce English correctly when Koreans pronounce it differently.
You can read the pronunciation book as easily as you read an essay.
Existing pronunciation books are full of Chinese characters with unknown meanings, such as 'alveolar consonants, lateral consonants, affricates,' and are filled with incomprehensible pictures.
In fact, you don't need these Chinese characters to pronounce English correctly.
What matters is the shape of the mouth, the position and shape of the tongue in the mouth.
I've put the most emphasis on this and explained it in an easy way so that you can understand and follow along without thinking twice.
Also, we included episodes that Koreans may experience related to the pronunciation in cartoon format, saying, 'That's right, that's right.
I sympathized with the idea of 'I'm like this too' and became more interested in learning pronunciation.
Provides precise answers to why listening is weak
Even if you listen to the same text ten or twenty times, you won't hear it until the end.
But when you actually check it with your fingerprint, there are many times when it is a word that is so easy that it makes you lose your composure.
The reason this happens is because you can't pronounce individual sounds correctly.
Being able to pronounce individual sounds accurately will allow you to hear them clearly, and similar sounds will be distinguished and clearly heard by your ears, which will inevitably improve your listening skills.
One of the most important reasons to study English pronunciation is to improve your listening skills.
Develop your perspective on English through comparison with British English in a global world.
Although this book is based on American pronunciation, it also includes comparisons with British English, a trend that cannot be ignored.
Reflecting the growing interest in British English through film, sports exchanges, and other means, we have created a section where you can also study the unique characteristics of British English.
With the increased likelihood of encountering English speakers from diverse backgrounds, studying both American and British English broadens your listening ear and broadens your perspective.
