Power blogger Pink Panther's blog post
Power blogger Pink Panther's blog post
Description
Book Introduction
I never learned how to write.
I'm not even from a liberal arts background.

I have never learned the secret to profitable posting.
There is no entertainment temperament or talent.

I've been running a blog 'slowly and steadily' for 10 years.

#1 in the reading category of the blog chart!
Top 1% power blog on the blog charts!
'Pink Panther' became his best spec.

The secret to how 'Pink Panther' became the progenitor of blogs and the aspirational bird of bloggers is contained in this book!

“I had no name and no great qualifications, but I was able to get to where I am today only thanks to consistently writing on my blog.
Thanks to my blog, I became known and became a power blogger.
The starting point of it all is writing.
“It was possible just by writing.” - From the epilogue

Pink Panther, a Naver blogger with approximately 50,000 subscribers and 8,000 posts.
He reveals the secrets to his successful blogging in a book.
Over the past 10 years of blogging, he has accumulated 12 million views, over 8,300 posts, about 20,000 scraped articles, and published 14 books based on his blog posts, recording incredible numbers. He has also achieved the highest honors a blogger can enjoy, including being a Naver Certified Power Blogger, Yes24 Power Culture Blogger, Millie's Library Book Club Book Selection Committee Member, and Interpark Power Book Pinion.
It is considered a representative example of a blogger who succeeded solely through writing, without any profit-making or entertainment elements, and has become a wannabe for many bloggers.

I've been blogging for over 10 years, averaging two posts a day, 365 days a year, and I wrote this book to answer the many people who ask me how I can write something worth reading every day.
Many books on blogging teach you the logic and skills to rank high in search results, but the catch is that even the authors of these books don't get as many views as The Pink Panther!

The author finds the reason in ‘writing.’
The success or failure of a blog depends on the writing, and the author, who believes that there is definitely a writing style that suits blogs, reveals all the know-how for blog writing in the book.
The key is to write every day, without stopping, as his blog motto suggests: "Slowly and steadily." He explains in detail how he achieved this without ever taking a writing class or having a writing mentor.
And he tells his readers, “Now it’s your turn.”

Into the book
It may sound grand, but there is no medium as convenient and easy as a blog to introduce yourself.
YouTube is about video, so it's an art of editing.
Filming is important, but editing is more important to ensure that it is well-conveyed and enjoyable for subscribers.
Blogs are not like that.
You just have to write something very simply.

--- p.5

They receive around 30,000 to 50,000 won per post.
Even if you post just 2-3 times a week, you can earn 500,000 to 1 million won a month.
This is how you run a profitable blog.
You can't create a profitable blog from scratch.
There's no way I'll get any requests if I don't write anything on my blog.
First of all, you need to have a lot of posts on your blog, and your posts need to be searchable on the Internet before a marketing company will make a request.

--- p.24

We often read things where we have no idea what they are talking about.
Most of these articles forget their purpose and go off on a tangent.
If you talk about too many details, you will end up rambling on for a long time, regardless of the purpose.
If you don't write with a clear purpose in mind, you won't realize that your writing is going in a different direction.

--- pp.66~67

Why do you do something so boring? Do you write with a special purpose and awareness? Do you have a sense of mission to convey a tremendous amount of information, even if it's not fun? Unless you're a professional writer, there's no need to force yourself to do something you don't like.
Writing should be fun.
I write because I feel enjoyment in having someone read and respond to what I write.

--- p.76

I often see people complaining that their writing skills aren't improving at all even though they're writing consistently.
The best way for such people is to read.
There is a saying, “Seeing something gives birth to a new heart.”
It means that if you keep looking at an object, you will start to desire it, and the same goes for good writing. If you keep reading good writing, you will naturally want to have it without even realizing it.

--- p.133

Keep this in mind.
Someone will definitely read what I write.
It's a mistake to think that no one will read it.
Don't misunderstand that what I write has no impact and that no one cares.
Surely someone will read it someday.
This is precisely why you must write responsibly so that you will not be ashamed later.

--- p.161

If your blog has a private feature and you don't use it, it means you want someone to read your posts.
It's a contradictory feeling and a self-contradiction: I'm afraid of someone reading my public writing, but I also don't want to write something that no one will read.
In the end, we come to the conclusion that we have to give up one of the two.
Overcome your fear and make your writing public so that anyone can read it, or write privately so that only you can see it.

--- p.188

If you don't like the title of a post you wrote on your blog, it is said that rather than changing the title and reposting it right away, changing the title and making the post private, then waiting for about an hour before changing it back to public will help with search results.
I have never personally experimented with how effective and helpful this method is.

--- p.213

I somehow don't want to talk to people who talk in jargon.
You may feel like a smart and great person, but it's not fun.
Likewise, although there are times when we need to mix in technical terms when writing, it is best to write in everyday language as much as possible.
It's foolish to use jargon to show off your intelligence.
That doesn't mean you're smart, it just means you don't know much about the subject.

--- p.236

I was no exception.
At first, I tried to put a lot into one sentence because I had so much to say.
Even though I had to put a comma in the middle and put a period after clearly stating what I wanted to say, I kept writing it in a connected manner.
There were definitely times when I didn't know where to end a sentence.
Maybe it was because I thought it was amazing that there were so many people who kept talking.
However, a good talker is not someone who talks nonstop, but someone who stops talking precisely when to stop and expresses their emotions appropriately.

--- p.260

The lightest and most convenient type of writing to copy is a newspaper column.
When I actually try to copy, if the text is too long, I get tired before I even start.
Newspaper columns are usually about 1,000 characters long and present the columnist's argument in a narrative format.
Since this article was written by a former journalist who has been making a living by writing for over 20 years at a newspaper, the argument is clear and concise.

--- p.282

In this situation, it is a difficult challenge to post on the blog every single day without fail.
In fact, there are programs that aim to achieve the goal of posting a specific article on your blog for 100 days.
If writing were that easy, anyone could be a writer, but the fact that writers are rare shows that writing is difficult.
With a tight schedule from morning to night, it's difficult to wake up at dawn, write, and go out, and it's even more difficult to write in between work.

--- p.302

Increasingly, how well we utilize the vast amount of data becomes increasingly important.
The articles I diligently post on my blog are big data to me.
There is no need to be concerned about quoting from someone else's writing, and there is no need to worry about plagiarism when citing my accumulated records.
You can also find out when you thought of and wrote the article through records.
By reading my past writings, I can see how much I have grown.
If you think about the accumulated records spanning over a year, over ten years, and even decades, isn't that incredible!

Publisher's Review
Challenge yourself to write blog posts with the best cost-effectiveness!
You think your life is so ordinary? So worthless?
Me too! That's why I write blog posts!

Even in this age of video and the rise of countless YouTube stars, blogs continue to quietly gain popularity.
This may be the reason why there are many bloggers who earn 500,000 to 1 million won per month by posting only 2 to 3 commissioned posts per week.
Moreover, blogs are being used very usefully in business to the point where they can replace corporate websites.

Unlike YouTube, blogging can be done without any entertainment elements and does not require complex filming and editing skills.
Blogging is the easiest and most reliable way to start an internet business, as it allows you to make money just by writing.
The problem is that it is not easy to run a blog consistently.
Above all, 'How do I consistently post what I want to write on my blog?'
The model answer is the author of this book, 'The Pink Panther'.
The secret to running a Naver blog called 'Slowly and Steadily (blog.naver.com/ljb1202)' without a break for about 10 years since 2009 and posting an average of more than 2 articles per day is included in the main text.

“Blogging doesn’t take much time.
I think blog posts are the most cost-effective way to write compared to the time invested.
It's not that my life was special and I had a lot of material to write about.
I just wrote down everything I thought, felt, lived, and realized on my blog.
Then, before I knew it, I was certified as a power blogger by Naver, and I even published a book by collecting the articles I wrote on my blog. Is there a better medium than this?” (from the prologue) the author emphasizes the advantages of blog writing.

The solution to "What should I write?": "Write a review."
I wrote everything I saw, read, and lived!

The secret to how The Pink Panther first came to prominence was book reviews.
His principle, which has remained unchanged from the beginning, is to write a review of every book he reads.
There are over 1,800 reviews of The Pink Panther alone.
As a result, he became a certified power blogger by Naver in 2013 and has gained influence in various fields through his book reviews, including currently ranking first in the reading category of the blog chart.
He wrote after watching a drama, and after watching a movie.
There are more than 250 reviews written like this a year, of which about 150 are book reviews, about 80 are movie reviews, and about 40 are drama reviews.
The author says that the easiest blog posts to write are reviews, and that 90% of his writing skills are thanks to reviews.
The text contains the author's know-how on writing each review.
Maintaining a consistent blog is only possible if it's fun for both the writer and the reader, and the appeal of blogging lies in the fun of communicating through comments.
I share deeper inner experiences with my subscribers than with my family or friends.
As you exchange comments and replies like this, the number of views will naturally increase, and seeing the number of subscribers and views increase is also part of the fun of blogging.
In addition, the author does a good job of expressing the strange charm of blogging, which can be described as 'addiction'.

The author understands better than anyone else the feelings of bloggers who want their blog posts to receive a lot of likes, but lack confidence in their own writing and are afraid of others seeing it.
He also did not spare sincere advice and solutions for them.
In addition, there is a lot of useful information for bloggers, such as how to post every day when you are away, such as when traveling, valuable tips for food bloggers, how to use photos, and the sincerity to keep in mind when writing about your daily life.
The mentality to deal with malicious comments is essential, and the author provides systematic and sincere solutions for the mentality bloggers should have.

Each chapter includes notes of famous quotes from world-renowned masters related to the text, along with pages for copying.
Any writing is fine, but it's better to write well, so we've included plenty of real-life examples to help you learn what makes a good blog post.
While a sudden surge in views might feel good in the short term, it doesn't help in the long run.
Above all, this book is a textbook for long-term blogging.
In that respect, this book will be helpful to many bloggers.
