Into the book
Now is the age of convergence.
Marketing is a subject that engineering students must learn these days.
In the past, engineering school only required learning the technical aspects of making good products.
But now, you need to know marketing to create a product that will survive in the market.
That's why marketing has become a basic required subject.
Don't be a hard-working ant who works himself to death.
Don't be a lazy person who just plays around every day.
You must become a dog that combines the sincerity of an ant and the creativity of a grasshopper.
--- p.26
A toy store was doing so well that it was packed with customers.
After hearing this rumor, two new toy stores opened on either side.
The newly opened toy store to the left of the original toy store had this sign on it.
'Highest quality guaranteed!'
The toy store with the door open on the right had this sign on it:
Lowest price guaranteed!
The original store owner is worried.
How can we overcome this fierce competition? Then, a brilliant idea struck me.
After putting up a new sign in front of the store, business got even better than before.
What did they write? 'The entrance is right here!' --- p.29
Time cannot be saved.
If you save money, you get back the principal with interest, but time cannot do that.
The 1,440 minutes given today must all be used today.
Manage 1,440 minutes a day.
Everyone is given the same 1,440 minutes a day, but the results we get from using those 1,440 minutes vary from person to person.
--- p.108
Miracles in my life only happen to those who live with three spirits.
The first is the 'manding' spirit, that is, the spirit of heading to the bare ground.
It is a strong pioneering spirit to stand up on one's own.
The second is the 'do or die' mentality, which means living with the mindset of either dying or being killed.
They say that if you look hard enough, it will become clear.
If you rush in with a kill or be killed, you will definitely get it.
The last one is the 'bulldog' spirit.
There is nothing that cannot be overcome if you keep at it till the end.
--- p.122
The key words now are ‘survival’ and ‘differentiation.’
The first challenge for both companies and individuals is to somehow survive in a rapidly changing environment, and the solution to this is to differentiate themselves.
In short, to survive, it is important to know ‘how to differentiate yourself.’
How do I differentiate myself? The way is to create my own content.
To do that, you must first create your own concept.
--- p.135
A magazine published a photo titled 'Failure Family'.
The names of the family members were written under the photo.
Father's name is 'Next'.
As soon as he opens his mouth, he says, “Let’s do it next time, I’ll go next time.”
My wife's name is 'From Tomorrow'.
I live with the words, “I’ll do it starting tomorrow, I decided to do it starting tomorrow.”
But nothing is done.
My son's name is 'A Little Later'.
“I’ll do it a little later, I’ll do it a little later,” he says habitually.
And then there's nothing to do.
--- p.224
Their actions can be summed up in one word: 'beautiful symmetry'.
Smile, say hello, talk, and compliment.
In that appearance, I feel both humility and warmth.
Every time you meet someone, smile one more time, say one more word, and nod one more time.
This is the behavior of beauty symmetry, and it is an effort to learn the behavioral habits of successful people.
One more thing, let me say a word about 'Migochuksa'.
I'm sorry, thank you, congratulations, I love you!

Publisher's Review
Life is self, I live my life!
Live for yourself, change for yourself, and create your own competitiveness!
“No one is born without meaning.
But countless people live their lives without being able to reveal their worth.
Because no one else can live for you, you have to live for yourself, change, and become competitive.
It's a difficult and painful time of economic recession, but nothing will change if you blame the world and the situation.
Even if you live in vain, hoping for a miracle, nothing happens.
“If you want a miracle, be a miracle yourself and create a miracle.”
This book says that the secret to creating miracles is habits, and suggests ways to create such habits.
The author, Dr. Moon Chung-tae, lived as an ordinary office worker until he quit his successful job in his mid-30s, declared independence, and became the CEO of Gonggam Communication.
The author sets a goal of writing one book a year and strives to achieve it, and this book is the 18th book published as a result of his efforts toward that goal.
The author says that you can discover and develop your own values and live a special life, and introduces this book as an attempt to find the way to do so.
There are many self-help books about successful habits, but perhaps because the author quit a stable job in his mid-30s, a time when starting something new can be risky, and declared independence, the methods he speaks of and practices are more relatable and realistic.
A behavioral habit that will help you overcome the pain of the times and spread your wings in life!
A special book for those who want to live a special life!
We live in an era of economic recession, rife with restructuring, irregular employment, and youth unemployment.
However, it is difficult to blame this reality solely on the pain of the times, as this is a situation that has befallen everyone.
But even in these times, there are people who succeed.
Ultimately, the issue is competitiveness.
Because I don't have my own competitiveness, I am swayed by circumstances and limitations.
The author finds the answer to healing this pain in the movie line, "Do you want to see a miracle? Then let it be a miracle."
Don't just hope for a miracle, create one yourself.
Because this is a life that no one can live for you, you have to live it yourself, change yourself, and become competitive.
So, if you want a miracle, create your own miracle and become your own miracle.
Of course, the idea that ordinary people can become extraordinary sounds a bit far-fetched.
However, the author says that if you look at the negative positively, even the impossible becomes possible.
If you look at everything negatively, saying it can't be done or that it's useless, then even if you try, it won't work out.
Changing your thoughts and attitudes to embrace positivity and change will give you a competitive edge and allow you to find the extraordinary instead of the ordinary.
Finding a positive attitude and specialness in life is not special or difficult.
All you have to do is change your daily habits.
If you want to live a more special, successful life, or break free from your current ordinary life and discover your own unique value, I recommend the methodology in this book, which the author personally practiced and became a special expert.
