Book Introduction
I started studying leadership in 2007.
Leadership is neither a theory nor something you are born with.
It can be developed through continuous learning and practice through self-reflection.
If you learn and don't practice, you haven't really learned anything.
If you don't understand and apply it, you don't really understand it.
I began writing to practice the leadership I learned, believing that the only way to internalize knowledge and understanding is through practice and application.
I think it was a good decision to study leadership.


I am currently a mid-level manager at the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education.
I have developed a habit of reflecting on the thoughts that come to mind every day and the thoughts that make me feel certain by writing them down from time to time.
As a morning person, I read, write, and exercise early in the morning.
Reflect on the previous day and plan for today.
After reading, I write an essay summarizing my thoughts on each topic and how I can apply it to my life.
I wrote it down in a notebook for a while, but now I organize it on my blog.
This is not a blog for show.
It is a storage warehouse of thoughts.
It's nice that I can write and read it anytime, anywhere.
The short stories collected in this way were piled up one by one.
And then suddenly I wanted to publish it as a book.
It wasn't that easy.
Although he lacks literary talent and cannot write elegant sentences, he writes honestly and frankly.
Having taught educational administration at universities and leadership at educational training institutes for many years, I felt a calling to write a book that would be helpful to my juniors, which was a direct motivation.

There were people who helped me publish the book.
More than anyone else, it is Dr. Park Yong-ju.
An educator and poet, he runs the ‘Small Bright Library’ in Suchon-ri, Gongju after retirement and continues to write without rest.
And I do my best to help those who write.
I also grew a lot from that creative group.
Authors encourage each other and gain the courage to publish their own books.
We hope that this book will be helpful to current and future administrative leaders, especially mid-level executives.
There is a saying in the Analects of Confucius, “Learn from below and reach higher.”
It is said that the highest principles of learning and the highest level of self-cultivation do not come from higher-level learning, but from small learning.
