Career and Academic Advancement Counseling Education Theory
Career and Academic Advancement Counseling Education Theory
Description
Book Introduction
This book examines career guidance and counseling education theory at an introductory level from two perspectives: "What do career guidance and counseling teachers want to know?" and "What kind of career guidance and counseling teachers do students want?"
This book is divided into three areas.
The first area consists of the roles, qualifications, capabilities, education, and training of career guidance counselors.
While considering what kind of philosophy should be used in career guidance counseling, we planned the content to promote development based on self-diagnosis by informing the content of education and training that fits the philosophy.
The second area aims to contain various educational knowledge and theories that career guidance counselors should know.
These include learning theory, developmental theory, personality theory, and teaching and learning theory.
The third area contains content related to the growth of career guidance counselors.
The content was developed with the hope that teachers will pursue happiness, lead active lives, and continue to engage in self-reflection based on ethical awareness.
