Description
Book Introduction
“Escape from all the suffering that comes to life.”
The Heart Sutra, which awakens the wisdom within us

The Heart Sutra, a small sutra consisting of about 260 characters, is a sutra that expounds the words of prayer, or mantra.
As the name suggests, it talks about 'prajnasim'.
'Banya' is an abbreviation of 'Banya Paramita', which is a transliteration of the Sanskrit word 'prajna paramita'.
Prajna means 'wisdom' and Paramita means 'completion'.
Therefore, the Prajna Paramita mind means ‘the mind that signifies the perfection of wisdom.’
This book breaks down each verse of the Heart Sutra into detail and explains it in modern language so that anyone can understand the profound meaning behind it.
Additionally, he compares 'myself' to a 'four-story building' to explain each stage of enlightenment in an easy-to-understand way.
If we compare the Heart Sutra to a building, it can be said to be the story of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva reaching the fourth floor, the highest floor, and describing the scenery he saw from there.
In this way, this book unravels the Heart Sutra with concise explanations and easy-to-understand metaphors, reminding us that we can be liberated from all suffering and advance to a higher realm regardless of our current stage of practice.

Let's practice climbing the stairs that symbolize the self while reading and reciting the Heart Sutra.
As we climb the stairs within ourselves, step by step, we will be able to realize the 'perfection of wisdom.'
As I move forward, let me cultivate the wisdom that has been dormant within me, step by step, and free myself from all the suffering that surrounds me.
When you reach the top, the nets that entangle your mind will disappear and you will attain 'unsurpassable, complete enlightenment.'

Publisher's Review
A humanities series that can be completed in one volume!

Teaching you how to practice to reach the level of enlightenment!
The Buddha's teachings on reaching the 'perfection of wisdom'

The 'Humanities and Liberal Arts Series in One Volume' is characterized by its ability to explain a vast amount of specialized knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner and to aid understanding with illustrations.
This book contains the original text of the Heart Sutra, with easy-to-understand commentary in modern language, and supplemented with illustrations, diagrams, and photographs.
Thanks to this, it feels like we are going through the steps of enlightenment together right next to each other.
It is a friendly composition for those who have difficulty reading books, as well as for adults who want to reacquire liberal arts knowledge.

The Heart Sutra emphasizes that the reason all Buddhas who appear in the world become Buddhas is because of the mantra, Prajna Paramita, and that by reciting and practicing Prajna Paramita, one can “eliminate all suffering.”
When you reach a level where all that surrounds and hinders you completely disappears, you can be free from suffering, and the step that leads to that level is called Prajna Paramita.
What this scripture says connects with the inner self of every person.
Because each layer symbolized by the stages of practice already exists within us.
Although there is a clear upper layer within us, most of us are unaware of it and suffer and suffer.
But wisdom is not far away, it is within us.
The Heart Sutra contains teachings that urge us to look again into our inner wisdom, that is, our own mind.

If you are overwhelmed by worry and anxiety, and cannot see a way forward, read the Heart Sutra.
The obstacles surrounding me will disappear, my wavering heart will calm down again, and I will realize which way I should turn.
First, let us follow the teachings of the enlightened Buddha and reach the 'perfection of wisdom'.
