Book Introduction
In this day and age, do you still travel abroad carrying a heavy guidebook?

Tabula Rasa, famous for its travel maps, has released “Lisbon/Porto Portugal Travel Map 2025-2026” from its “Aiden Travel Map.”
Portugal is a country located in southwestern Europe and was a center of the Age of Exploration.
Lisbon and Porto are famous cities rich in history, culture, and gastronomy.
Includes a mini-map showing these two cities and all of Portugal.
Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and is a city situated on a hill above the Tagus River.
The narrow streets of the Alfama district, Tram 28, and historical landmarks such as the Belém Tower are attractive.
The Belém district and the Jerónimos Monastery, which were the starting point of maritime exploration, have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
It is a city where tradition and modernity are in harmony, with vibrant markets and modern art spaces.

Porto is a port city in northern Portugal, boasting picturesque scenery along the Duero River.
It is famous for its traditional blue tile decoration, the azulejo, and its Ribeira district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is impressive.
It is known to wine lovers as the birthplace of Port wine, and winery tours are popular.
It is a city beloved by tourists for its colorful architecture along the coast and river and its lively atmosphere.

These two cities were created as Aiden's travel map.
The Lisbon travel map was created to help you plan your trip while viewing the entire city of Lisbon at a glance.
From Commerce Square to Augusta Street, the Chiado and Baixa areas have been expanded and added to the enlarged map.
The Belem district was also enlarged and made into a map.
The Porto travel map was created to help you plan your trip while viewing the entire Porto at a glance.
Below, a map is created from the Moru Gardens to the Bolhão Market and beyond to Porto City Hall.
We also created a summary map of the entire country, which can be used as an additional map to help you understand the entire country.

Additionally, a map book and travel note are provided, and the map book is made by cropping important areas from each city map into a map booklet.
Travel Note provides maps and planning notes to help you plan each area.
Aiden's map is pure content with no ads whatsoever.
As this map focuses on travel and history, it is incomparable to other maps.

Into the book
Arch of Augusta
[Arco da Rua Augusta] A magnificent triumphal arch located at the entrance to Plaza de Commerce on Rua Augusta.
Built in 1873 to celebrate the reconstruction of Lisbon after the great earthquake.
Take the elevator up to the terrace for a 360º view of the beautiful city.
Free with Lisboa Card.

Lisbon Cathedral
[Se de Lisboa] The city's oldest cathedral that survived the Lisbon earthquake.
After construction began, it went through several renovations and reconstructions to reflect various architectural styles, including Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque.
A great photo spot with the cathedral and Tram 28 in the background.

Pastel de Nata
A traditional dessert originating in Portugal, combining crispy pastry with sweet custard cream.
In Lisbon in particular, the Pasteis de Belém egg tarts made by the nuns of the Jerónimos Monastery, the origin of egg tarts, are famous.

Sintra, near Lisbon
Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has many places so beautiful that they resemble a fairy tale, to the point that the English poet Byron described them as the Garden of Eden.
You can visit cultural and historical tourist attractions such as the mysterious secret garden of the Villa Regaleira, which was once the summer palace of the royal family, and the dreary and splendidly beautiful Peña Castle.
If you have time in your schedule, we recommend staying overnight rather than a day trip. If you don't have time in your schedule, the train to Sintra runs from 5:00 AM to midnight, so you can visit on a day trip. How to get there: From Rossio Station to Lisbon

Porto São Bento Train Station
[Sao Bento Train Station] A representative tourist attraction known as the beautiful train station.
The interior of the station is ornately decorated with approximately 20,000 large azulejos, depicting historical events.
It is still used as a terminal station for short-distance trains traveling to and from the suburbs.

Description of Azulejo
Azulejo is a decorative tile art that developed in Portugal and Spain, characterized by various pictures and patterns carved onto mainly white and blue ceramic tiles.
It is widely used to decorate the walls and floors of churches, palaces, monuments, and houses.
Portugal is known for adding artistry and storytelling to buildings through tiles depicting religious scenes, historical events, and scenes from everyday life.
