Memorial: To the late actor Na Cheol

To celebrate the release of the Netflix original series [Weak Hero Class 2], the script book for [Weak Hero Class 1], which will allow viewers to enjoy the emotions and lingering feelings of Season 1 even more deeply, is being officially published.

The drama [Weak Hero Class 1], based on the Naver webtoon of the same name that heated up the OTT world in 2022, is a strong action growth drama about a weak boy who faces countless violence together with his first friends, Su-ho (Choi Hyun-wook) and Beom-seok (Hong Kyung), who are model students in the top 1%. It is based on the webtoon of the same name [Weak Hero] by Seo Pass & Kim Jin-seok.
After its release, it was selected as the Best Content of 2022 by 64 video content industry experts, Cine21's 2022 Series BEST 10, Hankyoreh's 2022 OTT Series of the Year, and Forbes & Teen Vogue's 2022 Best K-Drama, and it won first place in the 2022 Wave Awards' 'Hottest Series of the Year', proving its global popularity.

Rookie director Yoo Soo-min not only spent a lot of time creating visually pleasing action scenes, but also developed the characters' settings and relationships in a more three-dimensional way, ensuring that [Weak Hero] was completed as a coming-of-age drama that anyone can relate to, rather than just a simple school action film.
Additionally, director Han Jun-hee, who created a huge sensation in Korea with the Netflix original series [DP], participated as creative director and was involved in the entire production process, including script writing, thereby increasing the completeness of the work.

[Weak Hero Class 1 Script Book Set] begins with a preface by the director and creator, and includes a wealth of content, including the director's cut original script with deleted scenes, high-quality stills containing unreleased cuts, and behind-the-scenes cuts recorded from the perspective of actor Hong Kyung.
Additionally, the drama's completeness was presented in a more three-dimensional way through storyboards that allow viewers to see the directing details of key scenes at a glance and concept art materials containing the art director's comments.
In addition to the actors' handwritten messages and rolling papers, in-depth conversations between director Yoo Soo-min and creator Han Jun-hee, and honest stories directly told by actors Park Ji-hoon, Choi Hyun-wook, and Hong Kyung, the depth of the worldview has been expanded by richly containing the intimate stories of the work that were not covered in existing media.
Additionally, we included a memorial message for the late actor Na Cheol, who left a strong impression as 'Gilsu', in an effort to remember his traces left in the work.
