Publisher's Review
From opposing toy weapon sales to world peace!

One day, as Bomi enters the classroom, she gets hit in the face with a BB gun fired by Kyungmin with a toy gun.
Bomi protests, but the boys, including Kyungmin, are adamant.
Bomi creates a 'peace group' and, with the teacher's permission, installs a 'toy weapon collection box' at the school.
As time goes by, Bomi and her friends from the Peace Gathering gain strength, and later, with more friends, they go around the stationery stores in front of the school to protest against the sale of toy weapons.
This behavior of Bomi's is reported in the newspaper and becomes widely known.
And Kyungmin, who was cynical at first, and other boys joined in and even created a 'Peace Gathering' website.

A strong wave of opposition to the sale of war weapons

While searching the internet for a school assignment, Jenny comes across a Korean child holding a sign with unfamiliar writing on it.
Jenny is moved to learn that the sign reads, "Do not sell weapons."
Because it was something we had never seen before, even in the United States, where gun accidents occur far too frequently.
Jenny makes a presentation at school about banning the sale of weapons.
Jenny's presentation sparks public interest and she eventually lands a spot on a popular TV show.
Jenny's call to stop selling weapons spread throughout the United States and resonated with many people.

War cannot be a game!

Even in the daily lives of children, which seem to be filled with joy and should be, the shadow of weapons and war hangs over them.
This isn't just a story about children suffering from war in places like Kosovo or conflict-affected African countries.
Elementary school children often play pranks by shooting bullets at their friends with toy guns that look exactly like real guns.
Moreover, numerous gun accidents occur in the United States every year, and the number is increasing.
War cannot be a game.
It is said that among the toy guns that children play with, there are some that are exactly the same as weapons used in actual wars, not only in name but also in shape.
Considering the children still suffering from war, the sale of toy weapons is a no-no.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lee Hee-jae's illustrations, which realistically and humorously depict the characters' personalities and situations, add to the fun of reading the book.

“Yes, I am dreaming.
But do you know who I'm dreaming with? All peace-loving people, especially you.
Yes, I am writing a fairy tale.
But you know what I'm really trying to say? It's the world before you.
I want to talk about what kind of world we should live in.
