Book Introduction
An effective Korean language class conversation structure is presented through an analysis of the problem-solving process of classroom communication.
Focusing on teacher-learner dialogue in Korean language classrooms, we analyze the negotiations between teachers and learners to address the common problem of 'communication breakdown' in second language classrooms.
Through conversation analysis during classroom instruction, which has not been previously explored in the field of Korean language education, we are revealing the communication structure between the two main players in the classroom, the teacher and the learners, and further revealing the potential of classroom instruction to promote communication.
