Description
Book Introduction
This is a revised and expanded edition of 『Rome in the Palm of Your Hand』, which has become an essential book for traveling to Rome.
Unlike guidebooks that only provide location and brief information, this guidebook is optimized to directly help you during your trip.
We went beyond simply “seeing” the scenery of the historic site and famous works of art and focused on “seeing and feeling” the content contained in the site and works.
Considering that many travelers who travel independently follow courses that are not much different from package tours, we created a system that allows travelers to create their own travel style and meaning without a guide.
In particular, considering that most guidebooks that everyone carries around are not only heavy but also have small fonts and limited explanations, we focused on greater efficiency.

Publisher's Review
This book is designed to help you travel around Rome without any inconvenience, even if you only take one copy.
We have made it easy to get into Rome from the airport and move around the city without any difficulties. We have also selected must-see historical sites and works of art and described their historical significance and cultural history.
We also did not overlook the desire for gourmet food, so we personally experienced and selected hidden gems, including famous restaurants.
In addition, we have introduced several places overlooked in existing guidebooks so that you can feel the breath of Rome, and summarized its vast history in an easy-to-understand manner.

Above all, QR codes were included at each location so that a map could be displayed on a smartphone, making it easy to find your way there.

So, this one book is enough to travel around Rome!

Essential Guide Written by a Traveler
The author has been traveling around Italy every year for over ten years, capturing what he has seen and felt through numerous photos and writings, and has compiled the essence of this experience into this book.
I have compiled the records of my passionate exploration of a country into a book that can be of help to anyone.
Rome in particular is the author's favorite place.
That affection is evident throughout the pages.

QR code for smartphone
QR codes are included at each location so that most travelers can use their smartphones as navigation devices, allowing them to find their destinations from anywhere.
You can figure out where you need to go with just a smartphone in one hand, without having to open both hands and look around with a dense and dizzying map, and you can zoom in on any road to find the exact location.
You can also use the navigation function to guide you to your destination with your eyes and ears.
The book was written with QR codes in mind from the planning stage, and the author personally verified QR code navigation in Rome over several years to ensure optimal convenience.

A book that fits in your bag
It is designed to be a size that can be held in one hand, reducing the weight of the bag and increasing its usability.
It will be a guide that leads your steps with its convenient size and rich content wherever you go.

A cultural travel book encompassing history and culture
You see as much as you know.
The long history and cultural significance are summarized in an easy-to-understand manner so that you can understand them at a glance.
With rich photographs and key content, you can glimpse the inner workings of the relics and outstanding works of art unfolding before your eyes.

A book you can't put down from the time you prepare for your trip to the time you finish it.
The essential travel information is clearly organized, making it extremely useful for planning your trip.
It will serve as a guide when planning the optimal travel itinerary, such as whether to focus on historical sites or artwork.
