February 1958, Munich.
Tragedy struck when eight members of the Manchester United squad, who had won the First Division title at an average age of 22 and become the first English team to qualify for the European Cup, reaching the semi-finals for two consecutive years, died.
In a hospital in Munich where survivors of the accident that would later be called the 'Munich Disaster' were being treated, the coach who had personally led the players was fighting for his life.
It was manager Matt Busbee, the soul and symbol of Manchester United who gave Manchester United the reputation of a prestigious club.
The doctors who examined him when he was just brought into the hospital told him that he had a 50-50 chance of surviving or dying, and during his treatment, he received the Sacrament of the Sick twice, which is given to patients near death.
When he suddenly regained consciousness during that period, he spoke to Coach Jimmy Murphy, who was like his right-hand man.
"Let the flag keep flying.
"Don't let Man Utd collapse until I get back."
