Into the book
And this is really important, if you get dust or something on the paint while you are painting with a brush, don't rush to fix it, just leave it.
While painting all the other parts, such errors can be displayed as damage and become a cool expression, and if you just leave it to dry, it is easy to fix.
You can easily remove it with a round knife.
'I hit an accident!' is a signal that something has been discovered.
It's best to accept it as a reward and look at it again after you've painted everything else.
--- p.10

I think the good thing about the brush is that it allows for quick corrections.
You can add color to the model and then, if you think, "Huh?", you can immediately add white or gray to color it.
I like that I can experiment right after I've added color.
--- p.69

If after reading this book you've been thinking about trying a new genre of plastic model or trying out new paints, then by all means, give it a try without hesitation.
It's not too late! Unexpected scenery and adventure await you there.
--- p.95

Publisher's Review
Failure is a reward!
The more you learn about the fascinating world of brush painting, the more fascinating it becomes.

Among the series planned and published by Hobby Japan, a modeling magazine that has been loved in Japan for a long time, "Brush Painting Tribe", which introduced techniques and know-how for brush painting, ink lines, chipping, and weathering, was particularly popular.
What modeler wouldn't be thrilled by the thought of recreating "that very model" in their mind with delicate brushstrokes? We've compiled the most useful articles from the "Brush Painting Tribe" series, worthy of sharing with modelers, into a single, handy volume.
In addition to the existing articles, we've added new examples that can only be read in the book, making it even more informative!

In addition to basic knowledge that will help you with brush painting, we also introduce tips for using airbrushes and canned sprays that will enhance the quality of your work when used with brush painting.
The article introducing painting techniques is followed by interviews with individual modelers about their painting environments and modeling hobby life, making this a book that will allow even those who are not yet familiar with 'brush painting' to vividly experience the 'brush painting culture.'
For those already familiar with the allure of brush painting, this book offers a valuable glimpse into the extraordinary tools professional modelers actually use, from cotton swabs and tissue boxes to sauce containers and pudding containers! We highly recommend reading this!
