Book Introduction
Why did all the leading figures of the times study destiny?
From Han Gojo to Yu Bang, Toegye Yi Hwang, Lee Byung-chul, and Chung Ju-young
The operating principle of 'post-heavenly fortune' known only to them

All the people who led history and the times had a clear understanding of the workings of fate.
Liu Bang, the Emperor of Han, overcame the limitations of his peasant origins to become emperor and turned his life around by reading the will of heaven.
Toegye Yi Hwang studied divination not as a simple superstition, but as a discipline that explores moral practice and the principles of the universe.
Even in modern times, CEOs like Chairman Lee Byung-chul and Chairman Chung Ju-young were so interested in fortune telling that they referred to it in their management.

Director Lee Jeong-jae, author of "Wisdom of a Thousand Years," has counseled many rich and poor people and confirmed that there is a clear difference in the feng shui and fortune telling of the two groups.
This book is the result of organizing the principles of success, prosperity, and happiness based on past experience and academic theory.
Everything in the world starts from extremely small and trivial changes.
Through this book, even the smallest ripples in your life will create huge waves.

Into the book
Many people believe that their fortune is their unique destiny determined from birth.
This is because of the vague belief that there is no one born in the same year, same month, same day, and same hour.
But this is not true.
There are hundreds of people born with the same horoscope, but their lives are starkly different, like those of wealthy entrepreneurs and homeless people, or those with happy families and those living difficult lives.
This reality proves that the common belief that fortune determines an individual's fate is a fiction.
--- p.018, from “Traps that are easy to fall into when studying fortune telling incorrectly”

Luck always moves together, good luck and bad luck.
Just as yin and yang move together, so too does luck.
The flow of life is determined by which of these fortunes has a greater influence.
If luck works for you, unexpected wealth will come your way and things will go smoothly, but if luck works for you, things will continue to go wrong and you will fall into endless difficulties.
--- p.042, from “Every life has a turning point”

The act of eating goes beyond simply filling one's stomach; it is like a mirror that reveals one's financial fortunes and personality.
The ancient sages measured a person's wealth and fortune, or 'food fortune', through their meals.
The main gate of a house in feng shui
In physiognomy, the area around the mouth is called a vessel that holds wealth.
If you find yourself unconsciously doing this while eating, you may be diminishing your own well-being.
We must abandon habits that bring poverty and misfortune and develop eating habits that bring good luck.
--- p.081, from “If you eat well, wealth will come to you”

In the past, Confucius said this about people:
“The human heart is more dangerous than mountains and rivers, and knowing it is more difficult than the heavens.” The heavens have the change of the four seasons and the distinction between morning and evening, but people change depending on the face they put on and are good at hiding their emotions.
--- p.126, from “The Conditions of a ‘Noble Person’ Told by Confucius”

If you can learn about someone's character and personality through their small habits or actions, it will be of great help in forming interpersonal relationships.
In our physiognomy, this is called 'body appearance' and personality is judged through the energy revealed in a person's body shape and behavior.
--- p.132, from “Don’t just look at the face, look at the body type”

Many people wander around looking for a good house site, but the true best place is not a place that has already been decided, but a place that people create.
As Hyundai Group Chairman Chung Ju-young moved into the house where Park Heung-sik, the richest man during the Japanese colonial period, lived and his business prospered, people began to regard the site as a place of great fortune.
However, Hanbo Group Chairman Jeong Tae-su, who later entered the company, suffered the misfortune of business failure and imprisonment.
This case shows that no matter how good the location is, the good or bad luck ultimately depends on the mindset and actions of the people living there.
--- p.174, from “Two Chaebol Chairman Who Entered the Rich Man’s House”

There is a commonality between the items that Chairman Lee Kun-hee, once the richest man in Korea, always kept by his side and the items that America's richest people always have in their homes.
In addition to the feng shui meaning of attracting wealth, it also contains the successful habits of the rich.
Regardless of East or West, the rich value the energy and habits that create luck.
--- p.199, from “Every rich person’s home has this item”

People say, “That person has a really nice face,” but they don’t easily say, “He has a really good physiognomy.”
This is because impressions are superficial and can be easily deceived or embellished.
On the other hand, physiognomy can never deceive a person because it can tell his or her energy, complexion, and bone structure.
There are many people who have a good impression but have bad personalities or live difficult lives.
However, there is no case of a person with a good physiognomy having a bad character or living an unhappy life.
--- p.227, from “The Difference Between Impression and Physiognomy”

What is the physiognomy that is responsible for middle age and beyond? It is the mouth and chin.
So which of the two is more important? Obviously, the mouth is more important.
The mouth is where the energy of the sky is exhaled and the energy of the earth is received, and its harmony and balance determine one's fortune after middle age.
For this reason, in fortune telling, fortune is judged by how well the corners of the mouth and the laws match.
So, can you change the shape of your mouth? Of course you can.
The story is that you can change your luck significantly after middle age.
--- p.260, from “The Mouth, the Source of Luck After Middle Age”

Publisher's Review
The fact that fortune telling does not determine one's destiny
Why you need to realize this as soon as possible

There are many people who want to have their fortune told, both in the past and present.
In the study of fortune telling, 'yin' means an unchanging quality, that is, fixedness, and 'yang' means a quality that is formed postnatally as one lives, that is, change.
From the perspective of the Four Pillars of Destiny, ‘yin’ changes depending on how it meets ‘yang’.
That is why the study of fortune-telling places more importance on the ‘acquired fortune (yang)’ that one develops oneself rather than the ‘innate fortune (yin)’ that one is born with.
In other words, there is no such thing as a good or bad fortune, or an auspicious or inauspicious place.

But why have we been misunderstanding the science of fortune telling and feng shui? This is largely due to the influence of Japan and China.
During the Japanese colonial period, Japan created and spread the concept of 'sal' in order to suppress the Korean national spirit.
Thanks to this, it has become rare for our people to not have any of the following: reverse skeleton, dohwa skeleton, and wonjin skeleton.
Also, in ancient China, fortune telling was used to control the people, and the concept emphasized at that time was 'three calamities'.
Our own four pillars of destiny deal with fortune rather than disaster.

In the traditional fortune telling that has been passed down from our ancestors, a person's fate is not considered to be predetermined.
I thought that my future would change depending on what I said and what I did.
That is why he emphasized how to maintain a gentle expression (physiognomy), how to straighten the body (physiognomy), and how to calm the mind (physiognomy), and taught how to organize the surroundings neatly (feng shui) and how to maintain smooth interpersonal relationships with people around him (compatibility).
In other words, traditional fortune telling is the best self-development theory and the essence of success.

From an Eastern perspective, a miracle means a moment when 'luck' opens up.
Luck is always around everyone, but not everyone is aware of its presence.
Let's put into practice specific guidelines to improve your luck through traditional fortune telling.
As has happened to everyone who has turned their lives around before.
