Description
Book Introduction
This book led the American spiritual world in the early to mid 1900s, and is considered the best book by many, including Elvis Presley.
Despite this popularity and interest, the authorship of this book was always listed as “Anonymous.”
It was only after his death that Joseph Banner was revealed to have been the author of the book, and it was not until 2015 that his activities as an executive and owner of numerous companies were revealed.
Joseph Banner was a perfect example of living the Law of Abundance and the Impersonal Life he spoke of in his books.
In his book, he says that there is a divine self in every person, and that it is not expressed because of people's distracted minds, just like clouds blocking the sun.
So, if we can let go of the negative thoughts of fear, hatred, and jealousy, the Divine Self will solve all the problems of life based on one inspiration and impulse.
Solving problems through letting go is not only a path to material abundance, but also a path to manifesting our divinity.

Into the book
The point is that the unfortunate circumstances you are experiencing now were not caused by someone else, but by your Higher Self.
But the sole purpose of that work is to draw from you the wisdom, strength and ability to control those negative circumstances, to free you forever from those negative situations and to regain your true place in life.

Dear friend, I can see that you are facing a difficult situation and are deeply mired in a dilemma.
You sought help from the human world, but were rejected.
Having used all the power of your small self, you may now admit your own helplessness and pray to God.
But it seems like God either doesn't listen to you or, even if he does, doesn't answer your prayers.
But my friend, where is the God you prayed to and who is he?
Is that being somewhere up in the sky?
Or is it in a hazy fog?
Don't you know where he is?
--- p.29

The world's way and God's way.
In this way, God makes his children, who love him, realize that they can only serve one of God and Mammon.
If someone who has accumulated a lot of wealth continues to admire and pursue wealth, we can easily conclude that he worships Mammon without anyone saying anything.
But it is also important to understand that those who fear money and submit to its power are also worshipping Mammon.
To fear the outward power of money is to make it first in your life and God second.
Now, until you truly desire to serve God alone, and until His righteousness is proven through your thoughts, words, and actions, God's helping hand will not be given to you.
--- p.35

This truth I have just spoken of is so great that if you realize it, you will become an extraordinary being, transcending the ordinary human.
So don't dismiss these words as too simple and trite.
Keep those words in your heart.
So hold on to those words until their glorious meaning slowly unfolds within you, and you feel an immediate and definite change in your consciousness, and thus a change in your life and your circumstances.
--- p.43

What you need to do now is to reverse the mental processes that have led you to your current negative state and express your thoughts only in a constructive way.
A sincere desire to liberate yourself will bring about the help you need, and thus freedom.
Because your mind has been hardened over a long period of time with habits of wrong views and wrong thoughts, it may not change immediately.
But don't be discouraged or give up.
If you persist in the path you want to take to the point where your mind can truly understand that your decision is firm and resolute, your mind will no longer follow the path of your old habits, but will follow your new thought patterns just as they created your old habits.
--- p.51

Human life is always like this.
A soul with an enterprising and positive mind will reach its destination, while a passive and negative soul will be left behind or will only begin to move when they meet a leader who will lead them.
Why do you try to stay passive and negative?
These things are just attitudes of mind.
So, if you simply change your attitude, the direction of your life will also change.
--- p.55

You could indeed receive more, but something is blocking the inflow.
It's none other than your hands trembling as you clutch your last dollar in fear that nothing more will come.
Giving is, above all else, a channel that opens the door to the infinite source of God, allowing that infinite source to flow into both your spiritual and material life.
--- p.62

There must be a God in all of it!
But which of us actually perceives God that way?
And so, because we do not acknowledge His manifestation, that is, His presence in all things in which He is manifested, and do not seek to see Him in all things, and do not call Him all things, we lose ourselves in the confusion of misunderstanding that we are “separated” from the error, evil, and falsehood that our darkened minds have accepted as fact.
As a result, we lose our all-encompassing consciousness and experience disharmony, illness, and mental suffering in the belief that we are separate.
--- p.74

But I hope there is no misunderstanding.
Although I have said that everything and everyone in this world is whole and perfect, I am not saying that this is what you, with your present “separated” mind and present understanding, see and believe.
What you see with your eyes now, what you believe with your understanding, is “appearance.”
It is nothing more than a creation of a separate mind.
But it is only a shadow of what you thought was true in your heart.
So that shadow is just a fleeting afterimage that will disappear when you come to know God, who is all in all, and who projects only goodness, beauty, and perfection.
--- p.75

Publisher's Review
Our lives and our problems are inextricably linked.
When you solve one problem, another one arises.
This process is repeated so terribly that we sometimes feel that life is difficult.
When we are given a problem, the way we usually approach it is to wrestle with it.
I keep thinking about the problem to find the answer and wondering how I can solve it.
You will find a way through a lot of worries and fears, and you will suffer as much as the time you were in it.
Joseph Banner described this approach to problem solving as the "path of adversity."
And there is another path entirely, called the Path of the Divine.
It is about withdrawing our mind and consciousness from the problem.
So, it is said that when you let go of your mind that has been dwelling on fear, worry, anxiety, and hatred, your mind will receive the answer on its own.
It's similar to how the fastest recovery occurs when you fall asleep and forget about the pain.
This method is not simply intended to solve problems in life.
When we calmly let go of distracting thoughts like fear, worry, anxiety, and hatred, the divine aspect they were obscuring is revealed.
This book provides the keys to solving life's problems and also suggests ways to restore our divinity.
