Into the book
I'm often surprised when I go to a bookstore or library.
How can so many stories exist with just a few letters? How can people endlessly create so many worlds with just a few letters?
Letters are an invitation that leads us into a different world that unfolds in each book, and they are also an amazing tool that gives shape and clothes to something in our minds and creates a world.
If we put our minds to it, we can all master this invitation and tool, the letters.
It may take a long time to create a world using letters as a tool, but it is easy to be invited into the various worlds created by letters.
If you enjoy invitations and explore other worlds often, one day the invitations may turn into tools that you want to create something.
I played this game with the 'Ganada' letters.
I created this little world.
It was a lot of fun.
What will you do with the letters?
I'm curious and excited.

Publisher's Review
I went to the bag store and bought a wolf
A girl wearing a checkered dress and green socks walks down the street with her short hair fluttering.
The place where the child stopped was a bag store.
The walls and shelves are full of bags.
Among the pretty bags of all shapes, colors, and patterns, the child chose the one with a wolf on it? No, it's a wolf! Leaving the wide-eyed shopkeeper behind, the child dragged the wolf that had sprung from the bag and continued on his way.
I left town.
“Cross the bridge and you’ll find a carrot field.”
It boasts lush green leaves and rows of orange carrots.
The wolf takes a bite of a large carrot.
“Whoa!” Oh my, the carrot is screaming.
“You guys! Stand right there!” A bitten carrot shoots up from the ground and chases after you, roaring like thunder.
Oh my gosh! That carrot looks five times the size of a wolf.
A world where letters fall, ice cream trees grow, and canned dreams and canned peace are sold.
With every step the child takes, with every turn of the page the reader encounters unexpected characters and quirky and absurd events unfold.
A carrot and a wolf sit together and eat ramen, and a rain of letters pours down from a book-shaped cloud.
In the desert, ice cream grows on trees, and on a stage in a desk drawer, the Cherry Lady and the Chocolate Boy dance the Cha Cha Cha with gusto.
And of course, you can't miss the cannery run by an invisible man.
They sell all kinds of canned goods.
There are canned cakes, canned balloons, canned waves, canned pianos, canned farts that have been held in for three days, and canned pleasant dreams.
There's even a two-hour peace can! A world filled with quirky characters and unimaginable happenings, lovingly crafted by an imaginative author, is as strange, magical, and fascinating as Alice's Wonderland adventures.
Alphabet picture book composed of whole letters, word play picture book with various language games
This book is a charming story picture book, but it is also an alphabet picture book in which the scenes are organized in alphabetical order.
Considering the characteristics of Hangul, which is written in groups, I chose the letters Ga, Na, Da as whole letters instead of the individual consonants G, N, D.
Each chapter has a representative letter, such as A or B, and the story is composed by rhythmically weaving sentences with several words that begin with that letter.
“Do you like ice cream? I really do.
“Ah, it looks delicious.” It’s refreshing to use nouns as the base, but also verbs, adverbs, adjectives, and even exclamations.
The author has hidden several words in the picture that are not written in the main text, as well as words that begin with single consonants.
It means to play a word search game like a hidden picture game.
You can also play a word-finding game that doesn't appear in the book, put a tune to the alphabet song in the book, or create a new alphabet song.
This picture book goes beyond simply learning letters and words, and encourages readers to try a variety of fun language games.
It is especially recommended for children aged 5 and older, as well as early elementary school students, who are beginning to develop an interest in new vocabulary and word games such as word association.
A layered story, a new story, a story expanding in all directions
This book has as many hidden stories as it has hidden words.
The stories of each of the characters with strong personalities are layered upon layer.
It's also fun to look at the pictures, imagine the conversations between the characters, and find hidden stories.
You can also use the picture as a clue to create your own new story.
Like, if you could buy any canned food from the Invisible Man's Cannery, what would you buy, or would you like to have these canned foods?
You can even imagine new scenes and stories using entirely new words.
Letters attract letters, words call out words, and stories give birth to stories.
Letters and words are the beginning of a story.
This delightful and enjoyable picture book will stimulate readers' imaginations.
Within the world the author has created, and beyond, it encourages readers to create their own stories, using letters and words as bricks to build new worlds.
Because this is a country where everything you imagine comes true, a country where everything you dream of comes true.
