〈'My Favorite' Heats Up Moji Port〉 begins with convenience store employee Mitsuri busily preparing to 'welcome' her favorite member of a male idol group who has heard the news that he will be visiting Moji Port as a tourism ambassador.
Compared to other members, Miss Lee is not outstanding in singing, dancing, or looks, but she is a fan of the group because she puts in effort in everything, which makes people want to embrace her.
That Saibara Aru happens to run into a group of Shiba store manager fan club members, and a few days later, he visits the Tenderness convenience store and confides his deep concerns.
Aru, who confesses that his nickname is 'Reed Man' due to his character's erratic behavior, says, "You know your good points to some extent, right? Work on those parts."

In "Hello, Friends," a new character, Kaori Inoue, who suffers from severe homesickness, appears and leads the story.
After living in the unfamiliar town of Kobe with her husband Michio for six months, the beauty of the surrounding scenery began to fade for Kaori.
Gaori, who often sheds tears and misses her past in her hometown, becomes friends with Takara, whom she meets by chance on the beach at Moji Port.
Kaori is not happy about her husband's concern for Takara, who is outgoing and speaks his mind freely, unlike her.
Takara, who considers her husband's position, advises Gaori to improve her relationship with her husband.
When Juru, the younger sister of the Shiba brothers, expresses her concerns to these two people who are predicted to be best friends, Kaori also sympathizes, saying, “I want to become ‘something,’ but I don’t know what to become or what I want to do, so I just get anxious” (p. 119).
The three become friends who open up to each other and acknowledge and comfort each other's anxieties.


Taro Hirose, a convenience store worker who has been a major character since Volume 2, is the main character of the final episode of Volume 3, "Flowers, Storm."
While Daro is confused about what love is while being concerned about Juru, who likes him for no reason, he is completely captivated by a mysterious woman with an intense appearance who visits the convenience store again.

The story of Saibara Aru, who struggles as an unpopular member of a successful idol group because she is not particularly good at anything, reminds me of my school days when I was lost and unable to find my path in life. The story of Kaori, who left her hometown to start a married life in a foreign land and struggles with homesickness and lethargy, reminds me of us as adults who have forgotten the dreams we once held in our hearts and are trapped in reality.
The people at Tenderness Convenience Store, who offer the characters in the novel with solutions that are neither too shallow nor too deep, may seem like fantasy at first glance, but they are actually extremely realistic characters that we can find in our own lives if we look around carefully.
Therefore, after reading this book, we realize that there is no need to worry too much about the difficult things in life.
Because we too have our own Shiba store manager, our own Man-Writer, and people like Mitsuri.
It is our responsibility to discover such people around us and to become such people to someone after reading the book.
