Book Introduction
Na Tae-joo's webtoon poetry collection 'Happiness' has been published!
A warm poem meets a lovely picture
Moments of happiness that gently descend upon us

The 'Happiness' edition of the webtoon comic poetry collection series, 'Happiness, Come Here', based on the poems of Na Tae-ju, a representative lyric poet of South Korea, and illustrated by Naver webtoon artist Loro, has been published.
This series, which goes beyond the traditional poetry collection format and offers a new poetic experience through the harmony of poetry and cartoons, is the third work to focus on the theme of 'happiness', following the first 'Comfort' and the second 'Love'.

Poet Na Tae-joo, who enjoyed reading comics as a child, planned a special format called 'Poetry Collection in Comics' to make poetry more accessible and familiar to people. He was also appointed as a distinguished professor at KAIST in recognition of his innovative creative technique of fusing poetry and webtoons.
“Happiness, Come Here” embodies poet Na Tae-ju’s philosophy that “a short line of poetry comforts our hearts, and a single picture enriches those feelings.”

This time, “Happiness, Come” was composed to allow you to feel poet Na Tae-ju’s warm sensibility and the small joys of everyday life more deeply.
It combines sensory cartoons to deliver new emotions to readers, and its educational value is recognized enough to be selected as a recommended book for elementary, middle, and high school students.
When lines of poetry like “I swept the yard / A corner of the earth was cleaned” (Poem 2) are displayed together with pictures, readers experience deeper and richer emotions beyond simple text.
Even for those who find reading poetry burdensome, this webtoon poetry collection is easy and accessible, and is a gift that the whole family can read together and share in the happiness.

Publisher's Review
“A poem sprouted in my heart / A corner of the earth became bright.”
Poetry to read with the eyes, poetry to see with the heart

“Happiness, Come Here” is not just a simple collection of poems.
The moment they open this book, readers will read a poem and visually experience its emotions.
The words are not understood with the head, but seep into the heart along with the pictures.
Poet Na Tae-ju's poems are short but have a deep resonance.
What makes this book special is the new emotional form created by the combination of poet Na Tae-joo's poetry and Naver webtoon artist Roro's illustrations.
Na Tae-ju's poetry touches the reader's emotions with delicate language, and Loro's paintings visually expand that emotion, providing a richer experience.
The poet's sensibility is contained in every expression and color of the characters in the painting, and each and every cut seems alive and breathing.
The cartoon scene that unfolds with the poem “I love you now / A corner of the earth has become cleaner / and more beautiful” (Poem 2) tells us that happiness is not far away.
It's just quietly shining next to someone precious.
This book, which combines poetry and pictures, will help readers become more familiar with poetry and treasure it deeply in their hearts.

“With you, I become a tree that never wavers until the end.”
Find comfort and courage, and discover happiness in everyday life.

The reason why poet Na Tae-ju's poetry is loved is because of his ability to find happiness in the small moments of everyday life.
In "Happiness, Come", we capture moments that we easily pass by and learn how precious they are.
The lines of the poem, “Having a home to return to in the evening / And someone to think of in times of need” are like magic that turns a simple moment into happiness.
The cartoons in the book convey the message of this poem even more warmly.
It shows through pictures that we can be happy even in an ordinary day, and that that happiness depends on how we look at it.
As in the poem “A flower has bloomed / A corner of the earth has become beautiful” (Poem 2), we can empathize with the fact that even changes in nature can become moments of emotion by encountering them in pictures.
Also, phrases like “If you have good music, listen to it whenever you want / And if you have a good person / Don’t hide it in your heart / Love them to your heart’s content and miss them to your heart’s content” (from “Don’t Spare”) convey the courage to be true to the emotions of the present moment.
"Happiness, Come Here" is a special book that teaches you how to discover happiness that exists right here, right now.

“When I hold you, you smell like wildflowers.”

Moreover, poems such as “That child / A child shaken by small things / A child hurt by small words” (“Don’t Be Sparing”) provide a time for deep self-reflection not only for young readers but also for adult readers.
