This textbook, newly published by EBS, is a textbook for preparing for the “Intensive Certification Examination in accordance with the Reform of the Korean History Proficiency Test Level System,” which will be applied from the 47th exam in May 2020.
The advanced certification level corresponds to levels 1 to 3, and the textbook is composed of essential content and questions for test takers challenging the advanced level.

The textbook's contents, divided into six chapters and organized in a clear and concise manner, will prevent confusion due to revisions and provide new guidelines for students studying Korean history.
We have carefully selected “Similar Expected Problems” designed to match the types of questions on the Korean History Proficiency Test, such as understanding historical knowledge or analyzing and interpreting historical data, and have compared and analyzed them with “Representative Past Questions.”
Additionally, we have carefully selected and included questions from the past three years and predicted questions from the “Previous and Expected Questions” section to help you prepare efficiently for the advanced level exam.

The “Exam Notes,” an appendix at the beginning of each chapter that summarizes the key contents of each chapter, will be very helpful if you bring them with you on the day of the exam.
The appendix at the end of the book contains a special lecture titled “Materials at a Glance,” which provides a comprehensive overview of our historical artifacts and heritage, along with photographs.
