Filling Your Heart While Writing: 100 Korean Poems
Description
Book Introduction
Beyond the pleasure of reading,
Let's meet the moment when poetry becomes mine, the 'moment of writing'!

*Includes numerous poems by Yun Dong-ju commemorating the 80th anniversary of his death.
*Kim So-wol, Han Yong-un, Kim Yeong-rang, Jeong Ji-yong, Lee Sang, Lee Yuk-sa, and even Na Tae-ju, a poet of wild flowers
*A handwritten collection of exquisite poems by 20 of Korea's most famous poets.

Reading poetry is an act of looking into the heart, and writing poetry is an act of rebuilding that heart with the fingertips.
《Filling the Heart While Writing _ 100 Korean Poems》 is a book that lets you experience both at the same time.
This book is a handwritten guide that helps the language in poetry resonate within me again by following the works of representative poets of modern and contemporary Korean poetry - Kim So-wol, Yun Dong-ju, Han Yong-un, Jeong Ji-yong, Kim Yeong-rang, Lee Yuk-sa, etc. - and the works of the national poet Na Tae-ju, who is loved as the poet of [Wild Flowers].

This book is composed of five parts: 'Where Love Stays,' 'The Path My Heart Takes,' 'Words from Nature,' 'Time to Face Myself,' and 'The Sound of Spring Coming Again,' and gradually connects the emotions of love and separation, nature and humanity, and hope and recovery.
As each chapter is transcribed, the reader regains the language and emotions he had lost.

And when you go inside the book, there is a poem first, and next to it is a notebook where you can write notes.
For example, after reading the movement-oriented [Star Counting Night], we not only looked at the information about poet Yun Dong-ju below, but also created a time for reflection that bridged the gap between the poem and the reader by asking short questions like, “What thoughts come to mind when you look at the stars in the night sky?”
This entire process becomes a meditative time, tracing the emotional threads the poet felt with his fingertips.

Meanwhile, poet Na Tae-ju says in his opening remarks, “Good poetry saves people.”
As he says, this book is not just a simple collection of poems, but also a healing book for those who take care of themselves through the language of literature.
Through the three processes of reading, writing, and meditating, you will experience firsthand the power of poetry to strengthen the heart.

Publisher's Review
“While writing quietly,
Poetry becomes the voice within me.”
_A life-saving book completed by borrowing the virtues of the old poems of 20 famous Korean poets!

★Poet Na Tae-ju's commentary and recommendation★

When the days pass too quickly for our minds to keep up, we often find ourselves holding onto a line of poetry.
Short but powerful words, the emotional threads contained within them, touch our hearts more deeply than any words.
《Filling Your Heart While Writing _ 100 Korean Poems》 is a book that brings the language of such poetry back to life at your fingertips.
This book contains the process of writing, reading, feeling, and filling in the poems of representative Korean poets such as Kim So-wol, Yun Dong-ju, Han Yong-un, Jeong Ji-yong, Kim Yeong-rang, Lee Yuk-sa, and Lee Sang.

This book is not simply a book for appreciating poetry.
As we transcribe each letter, we follow the path of the poet's heart.
On that road, old words meet the emotions within me, and the forgotten language of the heart slowly awakens.
Through the 'three readings' of reading, writing, and meditating on poetry, we present a time of reflection to organize your mind at the end of the day.

The book is divided into five topics.
It starts with 'Where Love Stays', passes through 'The Path to Reflecting on the Heart', then 'Words from Nature' and 'Time to Face Myself', and ends with 'The Sound of Spring Coming Again'.
After reading and following each poem, a short question for reflection is provided, which encourages the reader to speak to himself.
In front of sentences asking questions like these, we naturally pick up our pens and write down our thoughts as if we were having a conversation with poetry.

“Good poetry saves people.
“Poetry that brings the poet to life through writing, that poetry reaches the reader and brings the reader to life as well.”

As poet Na Tae-ju wrote in the opening remarks, “Filling the Heart While Writing _ 100 Korean Poems” allows us to feel the “power of recovery” of literature at our fingertips.
In this fast-paced world, you will learn through this book how the simple act of pausing for a moment and copying a line of poetry can bring warm and deep comfort.
