The lesson that the benefits of civilization can be medicine when handled well, but poison when handled poorly is no exception, and drones are no exception.
Random filming from the air has a very high potential to invade an individual's privacy.
Moreover, if this information is misused, it can cause irreversible damage.
Therefore, it is urgent to establish ethics and rules for drone use through social consensus.
Anyone using a drone is also required to have a mature civic spirit and follow these rules without fail.

When, where, and how were drones, which have become the rulers of our lives, developed?
The first known example was the 'Kettering Bug', developed in the United States in 1917 during World War I.
It was a drone that arrived at the target location without a pilot and exploded automatically.
Later, in the 1930s, a very interesting unmanned aerial vehicle appeared in England.
Named 'Queen Bee'.
It was a radio-controlled aircraft used as a target for military training.
This innovative machine has played a huge role in expanding our perception of how far drones can evolve in the future.


The term 'drone' is said to have actually originated from this 'Queen Bee'.
The 'Queen Bee' is literally a 'queen bee', and the drones that work for this queen bee are 'drones'.
In this respect, the word 'drone' is said to have been coined to mean an airplane that does work without being directly controlled by a person.

Author Jo Jang-hyun, who dreamed of becoming a pilot as a child, is a drone expert who has been working in the industry for over 10 years, focusing on research and technology development, while fulfilling that dream vicariously through drones.
The author said that while writing this book, he focused on the changes in human perspectives and the expansion of thinking about drones.

This book is divided into four chapters.
Chapter 1, "Drones, Flying the World," examines how the development of airplanes, which stemmed from humans' desire to fly, led to the development of drones.
We also talk about the current state of drones and the technology that moves them.
Chapter 2, “The Relationship Between Drones and Humans,” explores how drones have expanded their capabilities through human imagination.
We examine the world that drones have changed and will change, while also examining the negative aspects of drones, such as surveillance and privacy issues.
It also talks about the negative effects of technological advancement, such as turning it into a lethal weapon in war.
Chapter 3, "Drones, Culture, and Art," explores the potential of drones to broaden our perspective from the sky and unleash our imagination.
In particular, we examine the positive function of imagination in literature and science fiction novels that even changes human imagination.
Chapter 4, 'Drone Flight Towards the Future', predicts the potential evolution of drones in the future.
