Book Introduction
The #1 English study method book for the CSAT, 'Yeongilman'.
The latest revised edition has been published!
"This book is not just a study method book.
This book was created by the author who has achieved numerous first-class grades, and he wants to give you private tutoring.
"

"I'll Make You a Top Grade in English" is a record of the author's secret notebook, which he kept while studying for the college entrance exam, out of frustration over his English skills not improving no matter what he did.
The author, who felt the '3rd grade shackle' that could not be solved by any lecture from a star instructor, decided to overcome English head-on and began to study English intensively.
A bloody, sweaty insight gained in her solitary cell at the age of twenty.
And the solution I realized was twofold.
First, learn the proper way to approach problems by type.
Although there were many types of solution methods on the market, the problem was that there was no proper approach that could be directly applied.
The author, who was eager, studied each type thoroughly and created a type bible note that can be used most practically from the 'student's perspective.'

But there was another bigger problem.
The problem is that it is 'unreadable'.
Even if you memorize words and study grammar, '28 questions in 45 minutes' is not enough time to interpret them in combination.
It's so abstract that I can't even interpret it.
Besides, I'm short on time, so I'm just skimming through it.
How can I prevent English from being read and completely rejected? I decided to overcome this seemingly insurmountable wall head-on, and after endlessly experimenting with various reading methods, I finally found a solution.
That is the 'soul reading' study method.

English for the CSAT, don't know what to do now?
Are you also caught in some kind of trap like her before?
If you only have two months, think carefully about whether you should continue taking the lectures or read this book.
Now I'm revealing that secret note.

Into the book
“There are 10 minutes left, so mark it.”

My hands were shaking.
I haven't even gotten into the long text yet, and I'm still reading "Inserting Sentences," and now I can hear the sound of people turning the pages and marking on the test papers.
This time it failed again.
I try to read it, but I can't see any more letters or anything.
In this situation, it seems like Korean won't even work, let alone English.
To me, white was just paper, and black was just letters.
I took pictures of the remaining types while sweating profusely.
Now, everyone stands up to submit their OMR cards, the sound of chairs being pulled, people coming and going, I used to feel 'loneliness in the crowd' while holding a computer marker pen.
Everyone else is doing well, but I feel like I'm the only one who's stupid.
As time passed, I couldn't let go of the problem I couldn't solve, and I thought to myself.
'Why am I so bad?'

For me, the English section was a sore thumb.
A subject that stays the same no matter how hard you try.
A subject that makes you feel some kind of fundamental wall.
Where on earth did it go wrong?
I memorized 60 words a day, mastered grammar, and practiced 'reading in blocks' countless times.
So I thought I had it all figured out, but I always hit a wall.
No matter how many hours I studied English a day or how many EBS passages I memorized, every time the test started and I started solving problems, I felt like I couldn't tell if I was reading or writing a novel on my own. Naturally, I would helplessly choose the answer without knowing whether it was right or wrong.

“Now stop solving it and submit it.”

The supervisor always said this to me.
I suffered from lack of time throughout my senior year of high school.
For me, 70 minutes was not enough time to read English, let alone Korean, and I had to choose the answers to the latter half of the questions with a computer marker pen, as if I was playing the lottery.
And I know.
Every test taker who got an English level 3 or lower feels this miserable feeling while taking the test.

In the end, I took the college entrance exam again and studied English like crazy. I don't think it's appropriate to say that I studied hard.
Before it became a means to get into college, I developed a fear of English itself.
I really wanted to know what the "fundamental wall" in English that I had felt for so long, that I couldn't overcome with simple effort, was.
At the age of twenty, I was in solitary confinement, obsessed with research as if I were a scholar.
And that fall, I finally dared to find the perfect answer to the English section of the CSAT.
In September, a month and a half before the CSAT, I finally completed my master notebook, which contained everything, and I received perfect scores or a grade 1 on every test I took after October.
For me, this wasn't just a simple college entrance exam study, as it was a shame it ended with a successful entrance exam.
I found the answer not only in the CSAT but also in English itself, that is, in English as a language, and the first grade I received was an 'acquired first grade' that students who instinctively get first grades never know.

That's why I am confident.
I have the confidence to empathize with anyone who struggles with English like me, and I have the confidence to help anyone become a top-tier English speaker in just two months.
I know the real answer, not the one where some people get there by doing it that way and others who studied the same way don't.

I dare say that this surpasses the theories of many famous English instructors for the College Scholastic Ability Test in Korea.
They don't teach.
Most of them are originally good at English, so they don't know how much of an 'artificial' training process it takes to acquire a first-class English skill.
There are definitely students who have improved their grades after taking their classes.
But they don't know clearly what was going on in the student's head while he was studying.
They are just explaining the English text while telling a lot about the English language.
'Why is this the answer?'
When you hear their explanation, it makes sense.
But I know that there are many cases where I don't have the ability to figure out the answer 'alone', and that I don't have the strength to interpret it well on my own during the lonely English section of the test.

So, if you are stuck in a rut like I was before, I hope you will follow my advice and not trust what your prep school teachers or school teachers say when it comes to the English section of the CSAT.
I will tell you everything about how to study, what textbooks to use, and how to accept English at each stage.
It doesn't matter what rank you are at now.
I hope that for just two months, you will rely on me and do as I say.

Are you at a loss for what to do about the English section of the CSAT? Have you fallen into a similar rut as her? If you only have two months, consider carefully whether you should continue taking online classes or read this book.
Now, we reveal that secret note!

"Congratulations on the publication of your paperback! I'm so glad English is graded absolutely. If it were graded relative to others, I wouldn't have been able to congratulate you, thinking I would have read this book and improved my score."

〈Yeongilman〉 is a book that started as an e-book.
Curious to see how readers would react to this English tutoring book, which conveys the world's first English lessons through writing, we attempted a pilot sale.
So the book spread without any formal promotion.
After a month and a half, I received unexpectedly rave reviews such as, "My English reading has completely changed," "This is a savior," "I only had time to follow one passage a day, but I got a level 1," "It feels like I can read English like Korean," and "Are you thinking of officially publishing this in bookstores?" Thanks to your support, I am now officially publishing this book as a paperback.

And another philosophy is that we don't make unreasonable demands on students to study only English when we promise to make them level 1 in English.
It's not like we've made it thick like an encyclopedia and told everyone to 'study it.'
Do you have an English book you've studied from cover to cover? The English-Japanese version is as thin as possible.
However, it is a densely structured book.
After reading this, you will be able to feel what it means to read English and what it means to solve problems properly in just one day.

The path to success must be transparent.
Effort should be rewarded with results.
Mary Poppins Publishing will stand with you, not just the "naturally gifted."
Our publisher's first book, "I'll Make You a Top-Level English Speaker," will transform your English section of the CSAT more substantially than any other online lecture.
