Jo Mal-soon's Vegetable Recipe: Home Cooking
Jo Mal-soon's Vegetable Recipe: Home Cooking
Description
Book Introduction
We introduce the home cooking method of preparing vegetables in the most delicious way possible.
Start a sustainable vegetable lifestyle by eating vegetables that are so delicious, not just for health or diet reasons.

Inheriting my mother's recipes and values, I introduce vegetable recipes under my mother's name, 'Jo Mal-soon'.
The Jo Mal-soon Vegetable Diet says that it's okay to not be a perfect vegan or eat only vegetables every day.
Rather, he emphasizes that for a sustainable vegetarian diet, vegetables should be made more delicious by adding meat, and that they should be made easily and simply.

When you think of vegetable dishes, you often think that they are tasteless and inferior to meat.
We wanted to make a small change to that idea.
So I focused on how to eat vegetables themselves in the most delicious way.
So that more people can enjoy vegetables properly.
But contrary to the idea that you should eat a lot of vegetables, it is quite difficult to put into practice.
The temptation of delivery and eating out is strong.

So, I'm introducing vegetable home-cooked meals that can be a fun experience for you, rather than a hassle or hard work.
You can enjoy familiar ingredients in new ways, such as making beef soup with corn, pasta with mugwort, and salad with cabbage.
Of course, we also introduced meat menus that bring out the flavor of vegetables and go well with them.
Now, let go of the burden of having to eat a lot of vegetables and start eating Jo Mal-soon's vegetable diet.
We hope you enjoy the true taste of vegetables and the pleasure of cooking.

Into the book
My immune system was weakened and my whole body was swollen with blisters and pus, so I stopped doing anything and just lay in bed for about two years without seeing the sunlight.
I thought, "Is this how I'm going to die?"
At that time, I went to many hospitals and took a lot of medicine.
There was nothing I hadn't tried with folk remedies.
I endured and endured alone in Seoul until I felt like I couldn't do it anymore, so I came down to Busan where my mother was. Fortunately, after a few months, I started to recover little by little.

At that time, I learned a lot about body type and eating habits.
My interest shifted to changing what I ate.

I cut down on spicy foods and eating out, and even tried going vegan for a few months.
The best thing about going vegan is that I've become more interested in the ingredients, where they're produced, and how they're distributed.
Unfortunately, a full vegan diet didn't work for me, so I stopped, but I learned a lot about the importance of vegetables and the nutrients they can provide, so my diet naturally changed.
My physical condition has also improved significantly since before I got sick.
Personally, I can't be a complete vegetarian due to the need for energy and the occasional craving for meat, but unless absolutely necessary, I always eat meals with a high percentage of vegetables.
If you feel like your body is not in good condition, get enough sleep and eat a completely vegetarian diet for about a week.
