The journey to find my destiny begins!

I want to talk about destiny.
The English word 'Destiny' is a very difficult word to translate into Korean.
It is translated as “destiny,” “calling,” “calling,” and “purpose,” but this is not an accurate translation.
It seems that there is no exact word for destiny in our language, which was formed within Buddhist and Confucian cultures.
In Western Christian culture, the meaning that the word 'destiny' has acquired is "God's plan."


Our lives have a destiny.
Our lives have a clear blueprint and purpose planned by God.
Our lives are not a series of coincidences.
God did not create us by chance.
Our lives are governed not by some cruel monster called chance, but by God's loving plan! Yes, it is.
He has a plan for us! We have a destiny for our lives! It's a destiny that brings happiness when we achieve it, and a destiny that leaves us feeling empty when we stray from it.
God created it that way.


A rose doesn't go underground and become a sweet potato because it's hard.
A rose is a rose no matter where you plant it.
The DNA of destiny that God created within us is not blocked or altered by difficult circumstances.
There is no obstacle to God's plan for you! The destiny DNA God created within you will surely be fulfilled.
If only you understood it and chose that path.


I wish everyone knew their destiny and let their DNA blossom.
God's plan is not to create a uniform, factory-made life.
God has a unique plan for each and every person.
Living a non-standard life in a world where standardized, standardized life is forced upon us is an adventure, but in a non-standard life, there is the joy of discovering God's creation.


When I left my academic career and chose ministry 16 years ago, my life began to deviate from the norm.
Because it was a path that was beyond the world's expectations.
But now I am happier than ever.
Happiness is not about having a lot of money, nor is it about gaining people's recognition or fame.
But I'm happy.
What on earth should I choose?

I have a story about God and my life that I experienced while living an unconventional life for 16 years.
I hope this story makes your life non-standard too.
Because your life is not a cheap, factory-made, one-of-a-kind masterpiece, crafted by a master craftsman.
It is a tragedy that this luxury item is being treated as a cheap, factory-made product.
Luxury goods are not subject to the limitations of standards.


Let us set out on our journey, led by God's hand.
Our destiny journey.
Okay, are you ready to pack? Be careful.
Perhaps this book will lead you down a path of no return.
It may be a spectacular path where the Red Sea parted and Jericho collapsed, but it may also be a thorny path where suffering and tears await.
But one thing is certain, this journey will take you higher than you ever thought possible.


There are people I am grateful to have accompanied me on my destiny journey.
I owe a great debt of love to my parents, my beloved family, and the precious Hanagyo Church family, who are indescribably precious, and especially to Pastor Joo-Hyun Park, Pastor Seong-Cheol Yoon, Pastor Ji-Hoon Jo, and Missionary Mu-Yeol Kim, who taught me and helped me understand what a deep covenant relationship is.
