100 Prayers for Children with God
100 Prayers for Children with God
Description
Book Introduction
This book is a “prayer book” that contains the process of acknowledging God’s right to custody of children.

Raising children is ultimately a reflection of the life you have lived.
Foods you've enjoyed, foods you've eaten that made you sick, words of encouragement, words of frustration, dreams you want to achieve, dreams you haven't achieved, all intertwine one by one to weave your own unique method of discipline.
That rigid and stubborn discipline method is based solely on my own experiences.

The author confesses that as a parent, he was always lacking in wisdom, physical strength, and financial power.
After much prayer and wandering, she realized that her children were not her business, but God's business.
I also gained the confidence that God, who has called me, raised me, and guided me until now, will never neglect His children.

This prayer is a heartfelt confession of the author's parents who came before God while raising their two sons.
This confession, filled with sighs, tears, and hesitation, sometimes seems full of holes, soft, and fragile.
But at the end of that honest prayer, the reader can meet God who is meticulously filling in the empty gap.

Part 1.
Their Orbit _7

Children are like stars.
Each star has its own color and orbit.

That's why we can't say to our children, 'Why are you that color?' or 'Why are you so narrow-minded?'

Part 2.
Then and Now _59

When I go back to that age and think about it with the mindset I had back then, it was all the fault of my parents, who were adults and capable.

Even today, I am a parent, but I train myself to love by remembering my childhood.

Part 3.
How to Lose Well _111

The Bible does not command us to be leaders.

I wish parents would first understand that it is much more biblical to follow well and to give well.

Part 4.

Bowl of Gratitude _163
Many of the things we complain about are actually things to be thankful for.

It's full of things you wouldn't be dissatisfied with if you didn't have them.

Into the book
My physical strength, my financial power, my wisdom are always lacking.
Nothing goes my way, not even according to my will.
The point we ultimately reach is that our children are not our business, they are God's business.

--- From the "Preface"

Father God, thank you for giving us, imperfect humans, the blessing of your precious life.
I am grateful that God's unique creation of life is realized in my life through my children.

--- p.8

Let me also listen to their cries of suffering today.
Please do not look down on me by thinking that my worries are small just because I am small.
Please do not assume that their young age means that their hearts are weak.

--- p.10

Help me to recognize that what I am like when I am with you is not all that my child is like.
Please don't be fooled into thinking that everything I see is true.
Help me discover the beautiful character deep within my child.

--- p.14

Don't tell your children what they have to do well to be loved.
I remember that I was loved by the Lord even though I had done nothing good.
Lord, be lenient with your children's mistakes as you have been with me.

--- p.28

Let me know clearly which path is truly right for me.
Let me find that path with each step I take.
Please don't let your parents block that path.

--- p.42

When I had my child, I just desperately wanted him to be healthy, but as he grew up, my feelings changed.
When I grow up, I hope to be bigger than others, speak better, and be smarter.
When you start studying, you hope to get first place, and when you graduate, you hope to get a good job.
When you go to work, you hope for a high salary and also hope for the best spouse who is beyond your expectations.
Let us reflect on whether the endless prayer topics are indeed correct.
Let me remember my original intention of being grateful for just health.

--- p.50

May your children have good leadership, good and beautiful leadership in their lives.
If there is no leadership, give us harmony and goodness.
Let there be no jealousy in me, trying to bring down someone who is higher than me.
May we all have a heart that carefully considers and treasures what is beneficial to all.

--- p.70

Let them recognize that they have their own lives and that anything beyond their protection is an overreach.
Let them also be considerate and learn from their mistakes.
I want to help you live your own life and have a healthy self.
Let not the sorrow of parents take away their initiative.
Let us recognize that children have the right to make mistakes in their lives.
And teach us how to stand up again bravely.

--- p.77

Let me know the coolness of the wind, the freshness of leaves, and the loveliness of animals.
Let us know the vastness of the sea, the height of the sky, the warmth of the earth, and the mystery of living things.
Although there are many difficult and challenging things, let us learn that there are also many things to enjoy and be thankful for.
So, please don't lose your cheerfulness in any situation.
Please let him grow up to be a lovely child and a warm adult.

--- p.88

May we become a family that keeps our bodies strong and protected by the blessings of our Father.
However, if difficult situations arise, may the Lord protect you.
I acknowledge that I cannot escape the providence that all life experiences.
So I rely on the Lord even more and ask for help.

--- p.107

Please don't let your children be too scared by the events and accidents that occur in their lives.
I acknowledge that I need to go through such experiences to become a mature adult.
May you grow and realize in such incidents in which God intervenes.

--- p.126

I want a spring of water that never dries up to flow in their lives.
Even when they face a drought in life, may their roots reach the spring of the Lord.

--- p.142

It's absurd when you do something out of love, but are treated as if you hate them.
Sometimes I sigh at how difficult it is to get through the day.
When I don't know where to start, I desperately cling to the Lord.
Father, please help me.
I will start again from my children, not from myself.

--- p.176

Am I a parent like living water to them, or am I the one who quenches their thirst?
Let us go to the Lord, the source of living water, together with our children.

--- p.198

In this disconnected generation, please open the way for us to become one with our children.
Open the way for communication so that we can understand their language and their thoughts.
We need the help of God, the master of time.

--- p.204

We know that not even one of the billions of leaves in this world is the same.
I am so grateful that God created each and every person in such a unique way.
I believe that because we are different, we have meaning when we come together.
We are one family, but I am grateful for the differences.
--- p.208
