It was simply translated as 'grace' or 'favor', but no matter how I looked at it, 'grace' could not be seen as an accurate translation of 'favor'.
Just as the English word '정' does not exist and is expressed as '사랑', the Korean word '에프버' does not exist and is therefore written as '은혜' or '은청'.
Favor, a concept particularly unfamiliar to Koreans due to translation issues, is similar to grace or mercy in that it is a favor we receive freely, but it is also different in that it is a special gift that comes to us only when “God sees fit.”
‘Salvation’ that comes from believing in God is grace.
Salvation through faith is by grace.
But that doesn't mean they all deserve 'favor'.

As the Korean song [Jeong] says, for a rainbow to appear in our lives, there must be ‘favor.’
Hidden within this word, 'favor,' was the secret to blessings and victory, the secret to success and happiness, and the secret to leading a right life.
It also contained the secret to empowering us to make good decisions within one, two, or three seconds.
That is, the blessings of 'favor' were not ours until we made some good decisions.
But knowing that the Lord is the One who gives the blessing of 'favor', we can make decisions at important moments in our lives that 'please God's eyes.
It helps us fundamentally change our attitude towards how we live, especially towards our neighbors in need.

At first, I just wanted to keep the commandment to love my neighbor.
Even if it meant death, I believed that was the only way to ‘love my neighbor as myself.’
I also did not know that God is the one who gives the blessing of 'favor' to children who sacrifice to live according to His word.
But now I know.
Just as He performed miracles on him who knew nothing, I believe He will give more favors to more people.


However, if many people want to receive the blessing of 'favor', they must tear down the tower of 'self-love' that they have built up until now and build a tower of 'love for neighbors'.
We must turn from a life of sacrifice and patience for our children, our families, and ourselves to a life of loving our neighbors with the same sacrifice, patience, and effort.
