Publisher's Review
A practical guide to baby foods that are great for babies.
It has been loved by many for the past six years and has become the national baby food book.
The author of this book, Kim Jeong-mi, who always felt sorry that she could not breastfeed her baby exclusively due to a lack of breast milk, decided to make baby food properly and read domestic and foreign baby food books to make baby food for her baby.
But no matter how good the baby food I made was, if the baby didn't eat it well, I felt like it was a waste of effort and I was really worried about the baby.
On the contrary, there was nothing more satisfying than when the baby ate everything without leaving anything behind.
She started introducing the baby food information she had learned while preparing each meal in this way through her blog under the nickname “Mother’s Cat” in the hopes that it would be helpful to other mothers.
In particular, Mother Cat's baby food recipe became very popular and was called 'awesome baby food' as it became known as 'baby food that babies eat well'.
Thanks to this, Mother's Cat was not only selected as a Naver Power Blogger, but her parenting cafe, 'Mothers', was also selected as a representative Naver cafe.
In January 2010, Mother's Cat published her first book, "There is a Type of Baby Food That Babies Eat Well," which included carefully selected recipes that she had actually fed to her babies.
This book became a bestseller immediately after its publication, and has been consistently loved for the past six years, selling a cumulative 400,000 copies, being called the “Baby Food Bible” and the “National Baby Food Book.”
Reflecting the diverse opinions of readers that have been collected consistently since publication
Made from scratch with pediatricians, culinary experts, and more
“This is a book that all the mothers around me recommend”, “It not only helps babies eat well, but it also serves as a mentor to new mothers”, “It has detailed explanations about baby food and a variety of menus, so there’s a reason why mothers recommend it”, “This is a precious book that I would recommend as a 100th-day gift”, etc.
There are many posts praising and encouraging the book, "Babies Eat Different Foods" in online bookstores, personal blogs, and parenting cafes, but there are also some that point out its shortcomings.
So, to repay the overwhelming love of our readers, we decided to publish a revised edition to create a more perfect baby food book. We have been steadily collecting and reflecting the diverse opinions of our readers for the past year to publish it.
The revised edition contains even more recipes for Mother's Cat's popular baby food and snacks, which have already been recognized by many new mothers, and also introduces Mother's Cat's vivid baby food experiences and valuable information that have been well-received by readers.
Additionally, Dr. Jiyoung Seo, a mother of two and a pediatrician who has helped many mothers answer questions about weaning, has taken on the role of advisor and provided thorough advice.
The culinary experts of Recipe Factory's Test Kitchen Team, a publishing company specializing in cooking and health books, meticulously verified each and every recipe to create simple and accurate recipes that even newbies to parenting and cooking can easily follow.
A completely revised edition of 『There is a separate type of baby food that babies enjoy』 that reflects the voices of readers.
