Book Introduction
And God saw that it was good, because they loved one another!
You, who love generously and raise up the weak, are a life that makes God smile.
Pastor Yangjae Kim, who saves others through honest self-confession, begins the Genesis Cute Note series.
This is our church's cutie note that allows suffering people to shed their hypocrisy, shame, and masks and reveal their true selves, thus finding peace.
“And God Saw That It Was Good” is the first series on Genesis, containing Genesis chapters 1 through 5, and tells the story of restoration as seen in “And God saw that it was good.”
In this book, Pastor Kim Yang-jae says that if you read Genesis, the beginning of the Word, carefully, you will see life and the entire Bible.
He also explains that a life that is good in God's eyes is one that hears the word and applies it specifically to one's life.
Because through meditation on the Word, we can discern God's will, interpret suffering, and prune away human thoughts and desires.
Our lives are filled with many hardships and difficulties.
The bigger problem is denying it and pretending to be happy and that nothing is wrong.
When I expose my suffering to the Word, interpret it, and receive instruction from it, my difficult life is led to light, and I can enjoy peace and joy even in the midst of suffering, and even go so far as to help others.
Discern what a good life is in God's eyes through the genealogy of redemption, starting from Adam and continuing through Seth and Noah.
Also, listen to the word of God to see how He views those who have chosen the human path through the lineage of Cain.
You, who love generously and raise up the weak, are a life that makes God smile.

Life in the Lineage of Redemption (Genesis 5:1-32)
Into the book
Without God's work and intervention, we would still be in chaos and darkness.
The Holy Spirit must come into my confused and empty parts.
I must repent, pray, meditate, praise, and serve so that the Holy Spirit can help me effectively.
No matter how empty it may be, when the Holy Spirit moves, a new and creative work takes place.
God created a new order by working on creation for six days.
God's best way to deal with us is through 'order'.
Just as the countless stars in the galaxy shine brightly, maintaining order in the places God placed them, if I obey the order and keep my place well, my life will shine most brightly.
Why did I spend 13 years of my married life doing nothing but mopping?
Because God gave me an important command.
What God has joined together, let no one separate, and he has made it known that my head is my husband.
Because maintaining the household is the highest commandment, I had to mop and keep my place even when I was angry and upset.
Because I obeyed well without breaking the order, you gave me this shining life.
We must discern daily what is important and what is less important through the Bible.
Knowing God will help us see all problems clearly and find their purpose.
The word God appears over 30 times in Genesis 1 alone.
The Holy Trinity helps me.
So I too must do creative work in all my environments.
Even in difficult relationships and order, time and space, we can obey order and relationships when we know the Triune God.
With the help of the Holy Spirit.
Then we too will be doing the creative work of leading others to salvation of souls.
The hidden will of God the Father was revealed through God the Son's humility in entering into my relationships, order, time and space.
Although there is still darkness and chaos, and we find it difficult to obey relationships and order, the Holy Spirit of truth effectively helps us.
The Holy Trinity helps us carry out our creative work in any environment.
With that help, we pray that we, who were chosen before the creation of the world, may now successfully fulfill the new work of creation.

Do I understand God's will and promises within the circumstances and order given to my life? Do I seek the help of the Holy Spirit and meditate on His promises?

21-22
When we receive God's love, the most beautiful feeling of repentance in the world arises in our hearts.
We must guard our worship so that we can experience this emotion every day.
You should consider it as your best time and invest in it.
You cannot bring others back by condemning and teaching, but when worship is restored, they become holy.
Then you can open it too.
Even if I am shamed and ridiculed, if I open up and want to be cut off from sin, sin will lose its power and I can rest in Jesus.
And on the seventh day, the “evening and the morning” that has been repeated until now does not appear.
Be free from everything and not be tied down by the evening and morning environment.
Hardships are no longer hardships.
Only then does the purpose of life become holiness, not happiness.
