God's Ambassador 2
Description
Book Introduction
“God’s amazing grace that answers God’s people who live by prayer!”
After ending his 36-year career in public service as Minister of Unification in March 2009, the response to 『God's Ambassador 1』, published by Jeoga, was enthusiastic.
Following the first volume, which contained the detailed guidance and work of God experienced during his public service, the author has published the second volume to answer the numerous questions that have been raised with him.
Like Volume 1, Volume 2 is structured to answer readers' questions, along with stories of God's will and guidance for him, God's presence and work experienced during his time as ambassador, and stories of people loved by God.
The author, who is nicknamed the 'Praying Ambassador', asks God about all matters big and small throughout his public service, and, as he answers, shows himself to be fearless and obedient only to God's word.
As the author wishes, readers of this book will not be able to take their eyes off it for even a moment.
You will also come to realize that this must be a prayer of the spirit, not just a prayer of the soul seeking its own benefit.
For souls who wander without knowing how to pray, and for believers whose lives and prayers are not in sync, this book will help them see how obedience to God's Word can be manifested as a blessing.

Into the book
When I have spoken, I will do it; when I have planned, I will do it. _ Isaiah 46:11
A life of meeting the God who answers
The Amazing Work of God
It has been exactly one year since the first volume of “God’s Ambassadors” was published.
When I first started writing the book, I said a few prayers.
The request was that whoever picks up this book will not put it down until they finish reading it, that they will shed tears of repentance while reading it, and that after reading it, they will begin to pray again, not only praying for their own benefit but also praying for the spirit.
As soon as the book came out, I saw the countless emails I received from readers, and I knew all my prayers had been answered.
And then amazing things started happening around me.
My wife's uncle, who was 87 years old when the book was published, was there.
Although he was an intellectual who attended Waseda University during the Japanese colonial period, he did not know God.
Not only did he not know, but he was a Buddhist and his hobby was to write Buddhist scriptures in calligraphy and paint Buddhist paintings, then frame them and distribute them.
Of the three siblings, two daughters married into families that believed in Jesus.
Although our religions were different, I didn't really care because I thought my daughter was a layperson.
However, when his only son wanted to marry the daughter of a devout Christian family, he opposed it, but after making her swear that she would never go to church, he gave his consent.
But is that something that can be done just because they swore it? One day, the son and daughter-in-law were caught by their parents secretly going to church.
It is said that the shock caused his aunt and uncle to think about drowning themselves in the sea.
The two of them were so stubborn that their daughters did not even dare to try to evangelize to them.
Then, in early 2010, I gave them a copy of “God’s Ambassador.”
But surprisingly, after my uncle finished reading the book, he said to me:
“If this is what it means to believe in God, should I also believe in Him?”
Then he received Jesus.
After that, he read the Bible every day, asked his children about things he did not know, and consulted the Bible dictionary to search the Word like the Bereans in the Book of Acts.
Even though no one asked him to, he wrote the Bible in calligraphy every morning and posted it on the wall.
Once, when I visited your home, I saw Bible verses written in small cursive on B5-sized paper and pasted all over the walls of the living room and bedroom.
Hallelujah! Of course, this was possible thanks to the tearful prayers of three children and the intercessory prayers of countless people.
Their prayers piled up and piled up, and my uncle was able to read the book, and after 87 years of wandering, he finally returned to God.
Among the readers, Deacon Park Hae-cheon (Lord's Church) sent me an email about an amazing experience he had after reading my book.
“On May 3, 2010, I had a rare free day, so I decided to leave work early and rest at home.
But strangely enough, when I was getting ready for work in the morning, I kept seeing “God’s Ambassadors,” a book I had already read, among the books on the bookshelf.
When I got home in the afternoon, it still caught my eye, so I decided to read it again.
As I was reading, I read about how the ambassador started speaking in dialect during a phone call with Deaconess Park Jeong-mi, and I thought, 'This person started speaking in dialect during a phone call, so maybe I can do it too?'
So I went straight into my room and prayed for the Holy Spirit's help to enable me to pray for repentance and speak in tongues.
As I was praying, something struck my heart, and as I cried out in great wailing, I felt the Holy Spirit leading me to deep repentance.
Unlike the previous repentance that was done only with the head, with the complete help of the Holy Spirit, repentance came from the heart. The tip of my tongue rolled inward, my jaw moved on its own, and only a 'creak' sound came out.
After a while, my mind went blank and I felt like a channel of communication with God had opened.
Without missing that moment, I prayed for healing for the sick people around me for whom I had been praying.
And with tears in my eyes, I thanked the Holy Spirit for giving me the precious opportunity to have a brief, deep conversation.”
Blessings poured out through books
I've received over 4,000 emails from readers over the past year.
This means that on average, we received about 400 letters per month.
At first, I only replied to four or five emails a day, but as time went by, I started getting about ten emails a day.
No matter how hard I tried, it was impossible to reply to every email, so I gave up on replying after that.
At the same time, requests for rallies have also poured in, with over 500 requests received so far.
At first, I tried to pray and then go, but I couldn't handle it, so I gave up on that too.
Still, I have attended dozens of meetings and testified so far.
After the book came out, the publisher asked me to do press and broadcast interviews to promote it.
However, I refused, thinking that selling books was something that God had to bless and that it wasn't something I could do on my own.
So, I have never done a single newspaper, magazine, or broadcast interview until now.
I even asked the publisher not to advertise in the newspaper.
However, they said that it would be difficult to not advertise in Christian newspapers, so they agreed to place it in the Kukmin Ilbo, but asked that they not place advertisements in general daily newspapers.
Nevertheless, the first volume of “God’s Ambassador” sold over 250,000 copies within a year of its publication.
It is all by God's grace.
There were numerous requests from readers to publish a second volume, and I decided to publish it this time to meet those requests.
This book begins with the story of God's will and guidance for me, and then moves on to the experience of God's presence and work during my time as an ambassador.
Of course, the anecdotes contained in this book are only a small part of the numerous experiences I have had.
Among them, it contains stories of people loved by God, anecdotes related to five pastors who served in Beijing, and my wife's testimony.
Lastly, I have compiled my own thoughts on prayer, based on emails sent by readers, hoping that they will be helpful to those who are wandering around wondering how to pray.
I wrote this book with a prayerful heart, hoping that readers, like the author, would read it with the same heart as the first volume.
And I pray that God will touch the hearts of each and every reader of this book, so that the same wonderful things that happened to me will happen to them too.
--- From the prologue
Instead of coming to faith in Jesus without suffering, I decided to take the hard path myself, as much as God would bless me.
I decided to live a life faithful to God's word, staying away from worldly pleasures as much as possible and kneeling in prayer whenever I had time.
It was a very monotonous and dull life, but I was grateful and endured it.
The higher my status, the more difficult my life became.
It was not easy to sleep soundly even when I was in the Blue House, and even when I was an ambassador.
There were no Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
All year long, it was all about work, prayer, and helping others.
When God blesses us, He does not give us blessings just for us and our families.
We must use the blessings we have received for the kingdom of God and its people.
As we have received blessings, we must bear even a small cross.
