Anti-Christians in the Church
Description
Book Introduction
“Become a follower of Jesus again!” Are you diligently seeking worldly things? -I may be anti-Christian. Following Jesus properly means It is not about following your own thoughts, but following the words of Jesus. An 'anti-Christian' is literally someone who opposes Christ. People of other religions who are not interested in Christianity are non-Christians, not anti-Christians. A person who does not go to church but has a favorable impression or interest in Jesus can be called a 'half' Christian. Who, exactly, is an anti-Christ? An anti-Christ is someone who claims to believe in Jesus, yet misleads others into misunderstanding him and even turns away from the church, thus further driving people away from the path to salvation. A person who knows God but does not follow His will and instead only does things that go against His will is an anti-Christian. There are far more anti-Christians inside the church than outside it. The author asks who is an anti-Christian using seven keywords: selfish Christians, discouraged Christians, obscene Christians, dissatisfied Christians, miserable Christians, and lazy Christians. And it encourages us to turn back and become true Christians who truly follow Jesus. |

Into the book
If they're clearly not Christians, why do they bother going to church? How did churches end up crowded with such people? The answer is clear.
Because ‘where there is value, there are fakes that lure you in.’
How could a country have a spy in its own country? It's the law to send spies to the enemy.
The more you send, the better.
Likewise, there are those in the church who have evil intentions and want to destroy the essence of the church.
Where would they go? So, the realization came that there must be countless spies within the church.
Their name is anti-Christian
--- p.7
Who is a Christian? Is it someone who calls Jesus "Lord" with their mouths, demonstrating their lack of faith, or someone who silently trusts in Jesus' power and obeys his words completely? Was this Syrophoenician woman a Christian or an anti-Christian? In Jesus' time, no Jew would have identified himself with a Gentile.
There would have been no Jew who thought that Gentiles could become children of God.
But what does Jesus say? He says this woman's faith is great.
And in front of whom did he praise him? In front of the twelve disciples.
Let's look at it objectively.
Whose faith is truly true, and what kind of faith is truly great? What greater faith can there be than that of the disciples who abandoned their parents and possessions to choose Jesus? They left everything behind and followed him.
But why does Jesus praise the faith of this Syrophoenician woman in front of his disciples?
--- p.45
In a world where obscenity is considered natural and licentiousness accepted as a free way of life, the claim that true freedom is 'getting out of it' is a surprising shift in thinking.
How is this thinking possible? It's a framework only those who have experienced true freedom in truth can think within.
--- p.70
I declared that I died and Christ lives in me.
Paul defines the state in which I am no longer myself but Christ is in me as 'faith.'
It may sound strange, but living by faith means living as an avatar of Christ, not myself.
Because faith is thinking, speaking, and acting like Christ.
--- p.102
Are you dissatisfied with everything and always anxious? It's because you've lost your gratitude.
The depth of gratitude is the depth of faith, and the depth of gratitude is the depth of love.
If I don't have a grateful heart, it's because I've never fully turned to the Lord in my life.
Perhaps you are an anti-Christian who has been wandering around Christ all your life, but whose center is always turned towards the world.
--- p.132
Why are there Christians who are more miserable than the world? Because their only hopes are for the things of this world.
Because even that is not enough.
Because the world sees that we are so eagerly seeking worldly things, yet God does not answer our prayers.
Why do Christians so eagerly pursue worldly things? Because they don't believe in the resurrection.
Because there is no hope of heaven.
Because we missed the value of things we couldn't see.
Because you have forgotten who you are.
--- p.161
The Apostle Paul opened his eyes to the fact that Christians must not be lazy in living a life of truth.
The direct translation of the original Greek text for “redeeming the time” is “redeeming God’s time.”
If we truly want to live diligently as Christians, we must understand God's will for this age and for us, realize the mission given to us, and transform the world's time into the Kairos time, the time when God works.
Paul asserts that the reason for this is because the times of this age are evil.
To say that the times are evil means that time belongs to the evil one.
Rescuing the time that the wicked have taken control of, that is, reclaiming it, is the starting point of a life that is not lazy but diligent.

Publisher's Review
As a true Christian who follows Jesus
Do you think you're not like Judas Iscariot, who asked, "Rabbi, isn't it I?" You diligently attend church, but perhaps you're living a life unrelated to God? Are you self-centered, always discouraged when faced with hardship, prone to promiscuity, dissatisfied with your work for the Lord, discontented with everything, wallowing in self-pity, and lazy about the truth? If so, you've strayed from the path.
Besides these, the list of anti-Christians is endless.
A Christian is someone who 'denies himself daily, takes up his cross, and follows Jesus.'
If you have strayed from the path of faith, this book urges you to turn back and become a disciple of Jesus again.
There is something anti-Christian about everyone.
Even if you discover such an aspect in yourself, if you repent, the Holy Spirit, who leads the process of sanctification, will continue to shape you.
I hope this book will serve as a prominent signpost on the journey of a true Christian.
