Korean-English Pronunciation Angel: Finish in 2 Hours
Description
Book Introduction
English-Korean vs. Korean-English: Which is faster? The reason reading English is difficult is because it is not pronounced the way it is written. That's why learning the English pronunciation based on the 'Korean standard' that sounds as it is written can help you learn it 5 times faster. After that, you will learn more accurate pronunciation by comparing the English pronunciation of ㄹ as L and R and ㅍ as P and F. English pronunciation is important because if you don't know the exact sound, you won't be able to hear or remember it well. Native speaker MP3s, free lectures provided! |

Publisher's Review
Me 20 years ago
When you teach, there are bound to be students who feel lost.
A student who never went to an academy in elementary school and doesn't even know the alphabet properly, reads words in English with a halting pronunciation.
That's exactly what I did 30 years ago.
I first learned the alphabet song (ABC...) when I entered middle school.
The problem was that all the students except me had already been learning English for several years in elementary school, so the English classes were centered around those students.
I looked up words I didn't know in the dictionary, but I couldn't read them, and since I couldn't read them, of course I couldn't memorize them.
One time I read candle as candy and it became a laughing stock.
For me, English was the most terrible subject in the world.
Feeling awkward or at a loss
English is different from Korean in that it is not pronounced as it is written.
I feel uneasy if I don't do phonics, and I feel lost if I try to learn it.
In the end, I skipped English pronunciation and studied English, so even after several years, my pronunciation is still ambiguous.
But if you don't know how to pronounce the pronunciation symbols, you won't be able to hear them well or memorize them well.
So I give up again at the beginner level of English.
It couldn't be easier!
This book was created with the idea of what it would be like for someone who doesn't even know the alphabet to learn English for the first time.
It starts with how to sing the alphabet song, how to write the alphabet (lowercase, uppercase), the difference between consonants and vowels, and the difference between the alphabet and pronunciation symbols.
It was written so that anyone who knows Korean can easily read English.
Large print and easy-to-understand explanations make it easy and quick for everyone from elementary school students learning English for the first time to the elderly.
Learn English Pronunciation Through the Eyes of a Native Korean Speaker
While most English pronunciation books teach pronunciation based on English standards, this book teaches phonics based on Korean standards.
It's fun to learn the alphabets corresponding to each letter from ㄱ to ㅎ, write '가다' as 'gada', and listen to native speakers' awkward pronunciation of '가다'.
We also made it possible to learn the English word 'go' along with 'gada'.
'Go' is one of the 1004 words (angel words) that foreigners use most frequently in their daily conversations, accounting for 89% of the total.
All Korean and English words in this book are taken from 1004 Vocabulary.
Don't worry
At Michaelisi, we create only the best English books ever created, with the mission of fostering positive character through enjoyable English.
Save time and money with hundreds of thousands of won worth of free lectures provided with each book.
