Into the book
“Noah, take your family and enter the ark.
“The animals will also come to you, so take them into the ark.” “Yes, God, I will do so.” A goose and a duck came walking in pairs.
A sloth came slowly, a rabbit came hopping, and a kangaroo came bouncing.
A turtle came crawling, a hippopotamus came squeaking, and an ostrich came running, kicking up dust.
Noah took clean animals into the ark as God had told him.
---From "Noah Built the Ark of Salvation"
David took a staff and five smooth stones and ran toward Goliath.
“I come in the name of God! You cannot defeat me with sword or spear!” David’s voice boomed.
An angry Goliath came running like a dinosaur, thump thump thump thump thump!
David quickly hung a stone on his sling.
The flying stone hit Goliath's forehead.
Twisting and tumbling, Aiko gets dizzy. Crash! Boom! Goliath falls and never gets up again.
---From "The Brave Boy David"
Jesus put everyone out and took the child's parents and the three disciples into the room.
“Little girl, get up!” He said, holding the child’s hand. She immediately got up and started walking around lightly.
The people watching were shocked and their eyes widened.
I came to know the amazing power of Jesus who raised even the dead.
---From “Jesus Heals Jairus’ Daughter”
“Zacchaeus, I will stay at your house today.” Jesus looked up at him with bright, clear eyes.
Zacchaeus came down from the tree with a trembling heart.
The people who were watching started to grumble.
“Why did Jesus go to the house of a sinner who collected taxes indiscriminately?” Jesus ignored them and walked confidently to Zacchaeus’ house.
