Publisher's Review
■ The three races of Kopu, Human, and Chacha are together
The tumultuous space school
“Going to school with aliens?” Si-hyeon is transferred to a space school and is both confused and worried, but her parents are completely at peace.
In space schools, which are like giant computers, even subtle cultural differences are expressed in a form that is adapted to each culture.
In other words, from Sihyeon's perspective, it's like going to a human school.
On the first day of space school, Sihyeon becomes friends with 'Koko', a horned Kopu child, and 'Shuchat', a one-eyed, muscular Chacha child.
Of course, in Sihyeon's eyes, the appearance and language are conveyed as Earthlings.
Koko, Shuchat, and Sihyeon become best friends at Space School, but for some reason, only members of their own race hang out at school, and there are more and more voices that badmouth children of other races.
These three musketeers roll up their sleeves to try and revive the mood…
"Space School" is a series of junior novels that captures the imagination with vivid characters that reflect the realities of children, a unique worldview, and the fun of each story.
Illustrator Lee Kang-hoon brings the alien children's characters to life with a fresh and rich imagination. His innovative style of drawing and color, which transcends the conventions of science fiction, masterfully manages the narrative's pace and delivers a visual feast.
“How many incidents and accidents would occur if children from three races were gathered in one school? … It’s as if there really is a space school somewhere in this world.
Just like the author says, “I feel affectionate towards the friends who appear as supporting characters, and I want to put them in a scene somewhere, so what’s the point?”, readers will also be able to fully feel the affection poured into the characters and episodes.
