Da Vinci Code for Teens Set
Description
Book Introduction
The Da Vinci Code, reimagined for teenagers
Bringing the story to life with a concise yet tense plot!

The Da Vinci Code, a "novel beyond a novel," with its breathtaking narrative unfolding with exciting foreshadowing and incredible speed, has been reimagined with a lighter and more refreshing translation.
"The Da Vinci Code for Teens" boldly chose to "select and focus" on existing works, appropriately slicing out content and changing the order of development, creating a more dense narrative.

The new edition for young readers retains the narrative and context of the original work, but reduces the provocative and sexual content to suit the eye level of teenage readers.
Meanwhile, difficult expressions and in-depth content were removed to add excitement, and unlike the adult version, the French was not directly exposed but described in a clear manner to increase readability.
Additionally, the scenes of tracking and uncovering the 'code', which is the core and charm of this novel, are vividly brought to life, fully maintaining its appearance as an intellectual thriller.

Publisher's Review
The only hit series that surpassed the Harry Potter series!
The greatest thriller the world has ever read all night!

A New York Times bestseller for 145 consecutive weeks! #1 New York Times bestseller for 64 consecutive weeks!
Named one of USA Today's 25 Most Influential Books of All Time! Translated into over 50 languages, it has sold over 80 million copies!

Stories that uncover the 'truth' that has been secretly hidden have the power to shake the world.
This is especially true if the truth destroys the 'obvious' historical facts and existing ways of thinking that we have believed without question until now.
Sometimes, it is not a grand discourse or a threatening weapon, but a simple symbol or a single sentence that passes by insignificantly that can turn the world upside down in an instant.
The novel “The Da Vinci Code” is also like that.
The meanings of the signs, symbols, words and sentences that unfold in the story have truly created a huge ripple effect throughout the world.
Dan Brown is a writer who poses unfamiliar questions to readers between fact and fiction, based on meticulous research.
Dan Brown, who started with "Angels & Demons" and then published the "Robert Langdon series" ("The Da Vinci Code," "The Lost Symbol," and "Inferno"), earned the title of "Big Bang of the Novel World" and was selected as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World" by Time magazine. He also ranked 4th in the "World's Highest-Paid Authors of 2017" list published by the American economic magazine Forbes.
Among the 'Robert Langdon series' he published, 'The Da Vinci Code', a controversial work of the century that heated up the 2000s, has been reborn as a youth edition.
With the publication of Origin, the fifth book in the series, The Da Vinci Code for Young Adults takes on a new look and reaches out to 'young' readers.
Let's take a look at the passionate novel "The Da Vinci Code," which has evoked deep immersion and great wonder in adult readers, through the eyes of teenagers!

《The Da Vinci Code for Teens》 boldly chose to focus on existing works, appropriately reducing content and changing the order of development, creating a more dense narrative.
Dan Brown has been planning to publish The Da Vinci Code for a long time.
Dan Brown, who grew up with parents who were teachers and thought he would become an educator rather than a writer, said, “I sincerely hope that through The Da Vinci Code, young readers will feel the same excitement I felt as I explored the hidden history and mysteries of the world we live in.”
The new edition for young readers retains the narrative and context of the original work, but reduces the provocative and sexual content to suit the eye level of teenage readers.

The introduction includes a letter from Dan Brown to young readers, and the second volume includes photos of Da Vinci's famous paintings and real-life landmarks that lead the narrative in an exciting way, as well as materials to aid readers' understanding.
The cover features a picture of a real 'cryptex' (a document that requires security by using a keypad lock) containing secret clues.
Additionally, the inside covers of volumes 1 and 2 include illustrated maps of key locations in France and England, allowing readers to see at a glance the path Langdon and Sophie take in pursuit of the secret.
As protagonists Robert Langdon and Sophie embark on a breathtaking chase through the cathedrals and castles of Europe, they decipher the ingeniously hidden codes in Leonardo da Vinci's works, and layer upon layer of buried secrets begin to emerge.

A grand conspiracy spanning two thousand years
Unveiling the secrets surrounding the 'Holy Grail'!

“When I die, the truth will be buried forever.
“No matter what happens, I must tell this secret.”

Robert Langdon, professor of religious symbology at Harvard University, gives an evening lecture in Paris.
Langdon is scheduled to meet with Jacques Saunière, a curator at the world-famous Louvre Museum, but he never shows up.
Saunière was murdered by someone in the museum, and a series of codes were written next to his body just before he died.
The police come to Langdon late at night to try to decipher the code.
Accused of murder and caught in a whirlwind of chaos, Langdon escapes the scene with the help of French cryptographer Sophie Neveu and begins to decipher a mysterious code.
The secret begins with Leonardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Proportions."
Next to the body of Jacques Sauniere, who died in the exact same position as the picture, there is a number code and an unknown sentence written on it.

Leonardo da Vinci, the genius painter who left behind 15 works of art, including the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper, hid various secrets in these two works and in his symmetrical depiction of the human body.
In particular, the Last Supper, which has a strong religious tone, expresses antipathy toward mainstream Christianity without reservation.
Meanwhile, in 1975, a document revealing the existence of the Priory of Sion was discovered in a Paris library.
The document lists Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, and Leonardo da Vinci as members.
The Priory of Sion believes that Jesus was not crucified, but rather married and had children.
The origins of this idea go back to the Knights Templar, which was formed 400 years before da Vinci was born.
The novel "The Da Vinci Code" reveals this seemingly fictional history as fact.
While Chief Fache of the Central Judicial Police Department pursues the innocent Langdon, the true culprits Silas and Aringarosa, the Opus Dei bishops who murdered the janitors under the orders of the so-called Master, unfold with a tense atmosphere.
If Langdon and Sophie can't crack the code in time, the ancient truth could be lost forever.
Indeed, will the veil of the secret truth be lifted?
