Quixote
Description
Book Introduction
Don Quixote, considered by the world's greatest writers, including Herman Melville, Mark Twain, and Franz Kafka, to be the "greatest novel in literary history."
This work is an adventure novel that contains the quirky yet exciting journey of Don Quixote, who is crazy about chivalry novels and decides to become a knight-errant who wanders the world punishing evil and saving the weak, and his naive squire Sancho Panza.
Although his adventures end in failure and frustration each time and his body becomes more and more worn out, Don Quixote does not stop his journey to achieve his dream of becoming a true knight.
"Don Quixote" has been evaluated as a work with a wide depth that can be interpreted in various ways depending on the region and era.
As time goes by, Don Quixote is gaining recognition from being a reckless and unrealistic idealist to a character who constantly challenges himself to pursue his dreams despite failures.
The author Cervantes satirized and ridiculed the absurd social structure and the behavior of the ruling class in 16th-century Spain through the eyes of Don Quixote, who was obsessed with chivalric novels.
Additionally, it created the first modern novel style in the West by using a unique structure and sophisticated development method not seen in previous novels.
The commentary behind the work examines how Cervantes' life was reflected in the work and how the work was interpreted in different eras.
It also makes us think about what Don Quixote means in modern times and what kind of mindset we should have to achieve our dreams.

Into the book
Then suddenly the door flew open, and Sancho rushed into the room and fell down with a thud.
He shouted with a pale face.
"Everyone, please go and save our master! He is currently fighting a giant who is the enemy of Princess Mikomikona.
“He said he cut off the giant’s head with one stroke.”
The bride asked in surprise.
“What do you mean? Where on earth is the giant?”
At that moment, Don Quixote's thunderous scream was heard.
“You wicked bastard! Your tyranny is over now.
You will soon meet your death by my hand!”
The bride and her party ran straight to the attic.
The innkeeper also followed in a hurry.
When I opened the door, I saw Don Quixote swinging his sword wildly into the air with his eyes closed.
The desire to defeat the giant was so strong that he went to find the giant in his dreams and fought him.
From the attic ceiling hung a large wineskin bottle.
Every time Don Quixote swung his sword at the giant, the wine in the wineskin would pour out like a waterfall, drenching the knight's head.
Our knight, intoxicated with victory, shouted:
"At this rate, you won't survive! You won't have a single drop of blood left in you, so victory will be mine!"
