Real Career Stories Outside the Classroom

In today's society, where one-person content and generative AI are widespread, the question of "career path" remains a pervasive concern for all generations.
"Career Talk Show Read Alone in the Corner of Your Room" is a career guide written by four professionals who are currently working as a psychologist, elementary school teacher, play therapist, and veterinarian.
Rather than rigid textbook-like instructions, it vividly captures the stories of four people with four different careers, living and breathing in the field.

From the planning stage of this book, we conducted several rounds of voting to actively reflect the opinions of children and adolescents, the actual readers.
In particular, we took into consideration the opinions of young people in the process of selecting the title and cover, and tried to create a vivid composition that suits the level of readers.
The text also chose a format that seemed to tell a story in a friendly and approachable way rather than a textbook-like or theoretical story.
Each chapter begins with an intro titled “All About ○○,” and then introduces each job preparation process, field episodes, future prospects, Q&A, etc. step by step.
Each chapter's outro includes a letter for future professionals and a glossary of occupational terms.

It will serve as a helpful guide not only to aspiring professionals seeking employment in each profession, but also to readers who are still wandering and undecided on their career path.
It is recommended for young readers and parents who are in the process of exploring their career paths, as well as teachers who plan to provide career counseling to children.
For anyone seeking to gain indirect experience in the diverse world of work, this candid and candid "talk show" by four individuals will serve as a useful and practical guide.

Finding 'my work' for 'tomorrow'!

Adults who became experts by chance
A tender letter to the growing future generation

In these days when terms like 'the age of 100 years' and 'the age of N jobs' are not unfamiliar, jobs are no longer simply seen as a means of making money, but as a means of self-realization.
As the term "professional" rather than "office worker" is gaining popularity, it is more important than anything else to understand the job you will be working in for a long time.
In this era of rapid change, "Career Talk Show: Reading Alone in a Corner" focuses on sharing vivid experiences and advice gained through field experience, rather than vague career information.

For young people who hesitate on the set path and are unsure of where to go, the warm comfort of four adults will resonate deeply.
In keeping with the meaning of 'Jinro (進路),' which means 'the path to take,' I recommend this book as a guidebook, like a light, to all future generations who are seeking their own 'path.'
