Publisher's Review
Expand your English reading and writing skills!

You can experience English as it is actually used by native speakers!

This book will help you learn more realistic and vivid English expressions than any English textbook or vocabulary book.
Newspaper articles often contain words and phrases that we frequently use in the real world.
So you can get exposure to real English!

Improve your English skills and build background knowledge at the same time!

Newspaper articles provide an integrated learning experience for vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and conversation.
If you read English newspapers consistently, your English skills will naturally improve in various areas, such as vocabulary and reading comprehension, and you will be able to read long articles without difficulty.
Additionally, you can develop background knowledge and current affairs knowledge by reading articles on various topics (economy, society, environment, science, etc.).

If you can write it, then you understand it correctly!

If you just read with your eyes, it will be difficult to say that you fully understand the text.
Even if you only read one, this book is structured so that you can read it properly and remember it for a long time, and then write English sentences that match the Korean language after reading the passage and solving the problems.
If I can write a sentence myself, I know I understand it correctly! Furthermore, the book is structured to help you organize sentences logically, which helps you develop a sense of the structure of writing.

You can read English newspapers on your own with the '4-step learning method'!

If you're one of those who finds reading English newspapers daunting and intimidating, I recommend studying systematically using this book's "4-step learning method"!

[Step 1: Read the article]
I reconstructed English newspaper articles into something elementary school students could read.
You can learn vocabulary naturally because the same words appear repeatedly within the article.
There is also a sense of accomplishment in being able to read and understand articles on your own.

[Step 2: Verify]
In STEP 1, we provide questions to check whether you have understood the article well.
Problem 1 is a word problem, problem 2 is a content agreement/inconsistency problem, and problem 3 is a one-line summary problem, so you can improve your English literacy.

[Step 3: Write the Article]
In STEP 2, recall the article you learned earlier and write each sentence yourself.
You can practice writing logically, like an article! If you find it difficult, you can go back to page 1 and check as you go.

[Step 4: Summary & Discussion]
In STEP 3, we summarize the article we learned earlier and reorganize it into ‘claim-evidence-conclusion.’
Next, in STEP 4, there is a discussion learning where you can think about the pros and cons of the topic!

If you publicly promise, "Starting today, I'll read an English newspaper for 30 days!", you'll be more likely to stick with it! Take a picture of the book with your resolution and share it with a friend or parent!
