Into the book
In preparation for the first edition of London Self-Travel, I traveled around London, eating fish and chips twice a day until I was sick of it, and stopping for cream tea whenever I saw it in search of the best scones, in search of the best fish and chips.
I grumbled, 'Is this the trip for me?' but the truth is, I'm glad I got to visit London to write a book.
Because every time I visit, I find a new place to visit, see places I've never seen before, and try new restaurants.
--- p.14 From the "Prologue"

Platform 9 and 3/4, where Harry Potter passes through the wall at King's Cross Station to board the train to Hogwarts, is located in the lobby of King's Cross Station, which gained worldwide popularity through the novel and film Harry Potter.
In reality, King's Cross station does not have platforms 9 and 10 in the main building, and JK Rowling revealed in an interview with the BBC that this was an error due to confusion with Euston station.
It is said that during filming, the exterior of the train station was filmed using St. Pancras Station, and the platforms 4 and 5 of King's Cross Station were changed to 9 and 10.
The trolley that passes through the wall is located in the central lobby next to the Harry Potter shop, and the staff will take your picture (you can then check the picture at the store and then purchase it).
If you want to avoid waiting in long lines, it's best to go right at opening time.
The Harry Potter store right next door sells a variety of goods.
--- p.168 From “Platform 9 and ¾”

Brick Lane Market, in this free-spirited atmosphere, is home to Vintage Market, which sells second-hand goods; Backyard Market, which sells handicrafts; Rinse, which sells independent small designer shops; and Up Market, which offers food, crafts, and retail goods from around the world.
Stop by and enjoy the fun of browsing the various odds and ends of Londoners, and you might even find something you like.
Sunday is the busiest but most lively day.
--- p.223 From "Brick Lane Market"

Upon entering the center, a guide dressed in Regency costume will tell you about Jane Austen's life and family.
You can take pictures with wax figures of Jane Austen and Darcy from Pride and Prejudice, and there is also a space where you can try on Regency costumes.
Every September, the 'Jane Austen Festival in Bath' is held, showcasing the Regency era (1795-1837) of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
As George III's mental illness worsened, his son, George IV, began his reign as regent (hence the name Regency), and 900 people dressed in traditional attire roam the streets of Bath, recreating the era of Jane Austen.
--- p.258 From "The Jane Austen Center"

It is a tourist bus with a hop-on-hop-off system that allows you to freely get on and off at major tourist attractions.
There are many tour bus companies in London, including Big Bus Tours, Golden Tours, and Toot Bus.
Usually, London is divided into three zones and operates the Red Route, Blue Route, and Green Route, and the system allows you to select the language you want to listen to through earphones (Korean is not available).
It takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes to circle London without getting off the bus.
The open second floor is great for taking pictures, and the first floor is comfortable with air conditioning.
It is perfect for those who find walking difficult or dislike it, the elderly, and for experiencing major tourist attractions and the city atmosphere.
