Only Macau
Description
Book Introduction
"Only Macau" introduces the areas above and below Senado Square, the east, Taipa, Cotai, and Coloane on the Macau Peninsula.
These areas are filled with historic Portuguese buildings, designated as World Heritage sites, and luxury hotels with plenty to see.
The Macau Peninsula is the central area of Macau and can be divided into the upper and lower parts of Senado Square and the east. The upper and lower parts of Senado Square are home to the Portuguese-style cathedrals, mansions, and plazas that are registered as World Cultural Heritage sites, and the east side of Senado Square is home to the old Portuguese forts and luxury hotels full of things to see. Taipa was a small island under the Macau Peninsula, but it was merged with Coloane Island to become one large island, and here are the mansions and cathedrals where the Portuguese lived, and Cotai is the reclaimed land created when Taipa Island and Coloane Island were merged, and now has many luxury hotels full of things to see.
Coloane was once a small island that merged with Taipa Island to form one large island.
There are many things to see here, including mansions and cathedrals where Portuguese people lived.
Macau is not a large city, so it's easy to get to your destination by taking the free shuttle bus operated by luxury hotels, city buses, taxis, or light rail, and then exploring on foot.
Additionally, Macau's hotels are both accommodations and tourist attractions, so you can enjoy spending time at the hotel, enjoying attractions, playing in the water at a water park, or watching a show.
