Description
Book Introduction
Hanbiya, who was at the height of her popularity as the 'daughter of the wind', jumped back into the world one day with the unfamiliar title of emergency relief team leader.
And five years have passed, leaving behind the questions, "Why do you do difficult emergency relief work instead of having fun traveling the world?"
Her unique warmth and positive attitude towards life have made me realize that the world no longer revolves around the jungle law of eat-and-be-eaten.
And now he shows with his whole body how thrilling it is to do something that makes your heart beat and your blood boil.
This book, March Off the Map, is a field report on the global emergency relief work she has been doing for the past five years, and a report on the life of Hanbiya, a new role model for our lives, living freely and without restraint.
In her figure, once again standing tall as the 'daughter of hope, daughter of the world', we can discover another energy and possibility with her ego expanded even further.

Into the book
Someone said this in an email I received shortly before leaving for the field.
Even if you sacrifice your lives, how many of the suffering people in Afghanistan can you care for? Even if you do your best, you won't be able to save even one hundred thousandth of them.
That's right.
I also get discouraged when I think like that.
Every time that happens, I think back to this story.
A fisherman living by the sea would throw starfish that washed ashore into the sea every morning to save them.
"What difference would it make if we saved just a few of those countless starfish?"
The fisherman answered the villager's question.
"That starfish saved its only life."

"Yahoo, it's decided on Nepal!"
"Wow, that would be great!"
I'm dying of envy for my friends.
Many people were puzzled, saying, "But Nepal is an emergency relief site?"
If it weren't for the emergency relief scene, why would the emergency relief team leader be there?
This country, known only as the home of mountains including Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, has seen over 90 percent of its territory fall into the hands of communist rebels while even we, fellow Asians, have been indifferent.
Over the past decade, numerous clashes between government forces and rebels have resulted in over 10,000 casualties, and government forces have been struggling to escape the blockade, even reaching the capital, Kathmandu, as they are pushed back by rebels.
Caught between these two forces, the people are suffering from absolute hunger and poverty.
The central mountainous region where I am deployed is one of the most impoverished in Nepal, and is where large-scale emergency food relief is being distributed.
