Organizational Behavior Research
Description
Book Introduction
It was not easy to organize numerous theories and cases and present them in a readable manner.
This is because there are too many theories and cases to cover and the readers' needs are also diverse.
If I go into depth explaining the theory, the book becomes too difficult, and if I focus on practical applications, it ends up becoming more like a collection of essays.
I tried to find a balance in the middle, but there are still many shortcomings.
The 8th edition has significantly revised the "Notable Executives" section at the beginning of each chapter to reflect recent changes in the corporate environment and the resulting performance of executives.
The main concepts and theories covered in the text have also been supplemented to reflect the latest research results and practical application cases.
For example, as social interest in MBTI has increased, we have covered its contents in more depth and added the new concept of Core Self-Evaluation (CSE), which has been attracting attention in recent research.
In addition, the possibility of practical application has been increased by including the concept of OKR (Objective and Key Results), which has been actively adopted by domestic and foreign companies recently, as well as the traditional management by objectives (MBO).
