Description
Book Introduction
This book introduces the experience of using 'social situation stories' in daily life as an ordinary mother, and presents the production process and actual use cases so that parents and teachers of children with autism can easily use it even in the midst of their busy parenting and education.
Chapter 1 is a story about the background that made me feel special after encountering a story about a social situation.
Chapter 2 introduces the social situation story and the process of actually using it.
Chapter 3 introduces how to actually create a social situation story.
Chapter 4 introduces the changes experienced in the family through the use of social situation stories.
Chapter 5 presents a 'social situation story' that was actually used with six-year-old Seolgi.
I hope more parents and teachers will create 'social situation stories' for different age groups so that our children can experience and share social situations from their perspectives.
Rather than isolating children with disabilities by saying that they can't be helped, it would be truly meaningful to discuss the world around them from a new perspective by sharing the unique perspectives of children with autistic tendencies.
We hope that by gathering together 'social situation stories' created in various ways for each age group, from infancy to school age, adolescence, middle age, and old age, we can all get closer to the world of children not only now but also in the future.
