Publisher's Review
Wee Class is a place where students can receive ongoing counseling on issues such as group bullying, physical and verbal abuse, suicidal and self-harming behavior, sexual issues, academic issues, family issues, career issues, and romantic relationships that they experience at school.
However, the Wee class does not yet have a standardized manual.
Although you can learn about counseling in college and graduate school, there is a severe lack of courses specifically designed to teach the work handled in the on-campus counseling room, such as Wee Class, and cases related to counseling students and parents.
That's why, when I first started working as a school counselor, it wasn't so much that the work was difficult, but rather that I felt lost and didn't know what to do.
The authors wrote this book with the hope that it would be helpful to have a book that would provide detailed guidance on school counseling, like a mentor, when they were starting out in student counseling at Wee Class and were at a loss as to what to do or how to do it.
Therefore, I wrote this book with the hope that it would help you learn the content, methods, and flow of school counseling work, from the time you first come to the school counseling office until you grow into a skilled counselor.
