Secondary Instructional Design Theory and Practice
Secondary Instructional Design Theory and Practice
Description
Book Introduction
Instructors should stimulate learners' experiences and motivation to broaden their perspectives, deepen their thinking, and help them grow.
To achieve this, lesson design is essential; it is a professional task and process that requires constant reflection and improvement.
This book aims to help prospective and new teachers alleviate the questions they face when designing and implementing lessons, and to help them grow into better instructors.

Classroom design shares many similarities with architectural design, which involves several pre-construction steps to create beautiful, durable structures that enhance efficiency and satisfaction in life.
The blueprint for architecture corresponds to the learning objectives that provide overall direction, while the specifications correspond to specific teaching methods and materials.
The bird's-eye view can be seen as the overall picture of the learning experience, the blueprint is the detailed activity plan to realize it, and the construction corresponds to the actual operation of the class.

We had intended to include both elementary and middle school courses in this book, but due to considerations of length and readability, we decided to publish a separate book titled "Elementary Class Design Theory and Practice: Unfolding as You Think," which differs only in the examples of teaching and learning plans.
I think it would be useful to look at lesson plans from other schools to get some unique ideas.
I hope that this book, which has sown the seeds of the field of 'Theory and Practice of Instructional Design,' will serve as a stepping stone on your journey to becoming an excellent instructor.
