Published following 『The Story of That Day That Goes Round and Round』, 『The Story of That Day That Goes Round and Round 2』 is a book that reconstructs the episodes aired in the current affairs and cultural program of the same name, produced and broadcast by SBS, into a single volume.
Although 〈Kokkomu〉 has moved beyond pilot and seasonal broadcasts and has become a regular broadcast, its basic format remains the same.
Three speakers, known as the "Jang Trio," tell stories of major events that left a significant mark on history to invited storytellers and viewers.
Of course, to successfully compose a story, you need a wealth of material.

Could this be due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting social unrest and increase in violent crime?
Television educational programs dealing with crimes, accidents, and unsolved cases have been appearing one after another.
〈Double-Sidedness〉, 〈Useful Encyclopedia of Crime Trivia〉, etc.
Although not strictly crime-related programs, there are also programs like “While You Were Sleeping” and “Midnight Ghost Stories.”
Although the materials and formats are slightly different, what they have in common is that they are centered around ‘storytelling.’
And the representative example of this storytelling-style educational program is “The Story of That Day.”
〈Kokkomu〉 proved its worth by winning the Culture, Arts and Culture category at the 48th Korea Broadcasting Awards in 2021.
Of course, the viewer ratings are also cruising along, maintaining a level that surpasses that of most entertainment shows.
As of 2022, it has gone beyond pilot broadcasts and seasonal programming to be broadcast as a regular program.

What is at the center of “Kokkomu” is, above all, “people.”

『The Tale of That Day: A Tale of a Twisted Life 2』 contains a selection of 9 episodes that garnered much attention from among the 20 episodes that aired in Season 2 of 『The Tale of That Day: A Tale of a Twisted Life 2』, which began airing in the spring of 2021.
Compared to the previous work which contained 7 episodes, it has been greatly enriched, and this time, it maintains a rich and substantial structure by including some content that was cut out during the broadcast due to time constraints, as well as PD notes containing anecdotes from the PD in charge of directing each episode.
