The role of the International Tossel Committee
TOSEL is an evaluation system that ensures social fairness and reliability, with Korea University participating as the test issuer and certification body, and hosted by the International TOEIC Test Examination Committee, which is comprised primarily of professors from the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) test issue committee.

TOSEL is expected to have an import substitution effect, preventing the outflow of foreign currency caused by overseas exams. TOSEL's questions and testing system are exported to non-English-speaking countries, contributing to national prestige.
