Speaking Matrix 30-Second English Speaking
Speaking Matrix 30-Second English Speaking
Description
Book Introduction
The basic introduction to [Speaking Matrix], Korea's #1 English speaking training program.
Even absolute beginners will be able to complete sentences accurately and quickly with this systematic 30-day basic training tailored to the Korean speaking mechanism!
“I lack basic skills. Will I be able to speak English?”

It is often thought that speaking is an area that only those who are good at English can challenge.
However, after completing this book's '30-day basic training course,' even absolute beginners can gain the confidence and skill to express their thoughts in English accurately and quickly for more than 30 seconds.
All training courses in this book are based on the "Speaking Matrix Program," developed by an English speaking expert with 21 years of experience, tailored to the Korean speaking mechanism, and proven effective by 200,000 readers.

The revised edition boasts a more powerful training effect with 'Pause Listening' and 'Pause Speaking', which 100% embody the actual speaking process.
Additionally, we have actively reflected various inquiries and requests from readers and revamped the content and structure.
In particular, by providing [Key Expression Summary] that details the usage of expressions and the meaning of words that are very helpful for speaking or that require knowledge of subtle nuances in expressions, it has become possible to study English speaking in greater depth.

This book consists of 30 days of study: INPUT (20 days), which summarizes the basic English rules and key expressions you need to know to speak for 30 seconds, and OUTPUT (10 days), which practices actually speaking by applying these rules.
Just like when a child first learns to speak, we train ourselves to speak about the most common situations we encounter in our daily lives, from the time we wake up in the morning until we go to bed, focusing on images and sounds.
So, with just 30 days of 30-second speaking practice, your English speaking skills will improve more than if you attended an English academy for 1-2 years.

With a burden-free 5-minute study time per day, {Author-direct audio lectures} by a speaking expert instructor and {MP3 files for speaking training} that automatically memorize expressions just by listening and following along are provided free of charge.
(Download without logging in from the website www.gilbut.co.kr).
Audio files for the voice lectures and speaking training can be found using the QR code in the book.

Publisher's Review
{This book consists of two training stages: INPUT, where you learn the English rules and key expressions for speaking English in 30 seconds, and OUTPUT, where you practice speaking using these.
}

(Fill in! You can tell as much as you know!)
30-second English speaking INPUT

INPUT, which prepares the basics for speaking, is a 20-day course (10 days of basic building, 10 days of core expressions).
At the end of each five-day study period, there is a mid-term review to review what you have learned.

[1-Minute Summary] The process of understanding English through images and concepts before words.
Step 1: Remember the image before the words.
When speaking English, images and concepts should come to mind before the words themselves. Focus on the images while listening to MP3s.
Step 2 Look at the English and Korean meanings.

Once you have a grasp of the rules of English (building the foundation) and the concepts of expressions (key expressions), you can check the meanings in English and Korean.

[3-Minute Intensive Training] A 4-Step Intensive Training Course to Master English Rules and Expressions
Step 1: Picture it: Look at the picture and think of the expression you want to say.
Step 2 Listen to each word individually: Look at the Korean words arranged in English word order and listen to the corresponding English expression.
Step 3 Listen and Follow: Listen to the MP3 and follow along.
Practice saying sentences in your mouth by practicing speaking in a paused manner (twice) and speaking naturally and continuously (once).
Step 4: Speaking in English: Look at the Korean and try to translate it into English.

[2-Minute Application Speaking] The process of making expressions your own by applying and expanding them.

[Midterm Review] A process to check whether you have mastered the expressions well after completing 5 days of study.

{INPUT Answers and Key Expressions Summary}
We have compiled the correct answers to the applied speaking and midterm exam questions in the INPUT section, as well as important expressions, with explanations.
Studying together allows for a more in-depth learning of English speaking skills.

(Speak! Now you can speak like a native!)
30-second English speaking OUTPUT

Practice speaking in English for 30 seconds by connecting and applying the expressions you learned in INPUT.
At first, practice saying one sentence at a time, and once you get used to it, try saying them in a connected manner.

STEP 1 Listen while looking at Korean: At first, look at the Korean and listen to the corresponding English expression without any pressure.
STEP 2: Speak sentence by sentence: Try speaking sentence by sentence. Listen to the MP3 and follow along. Once you're comfortable, try speaking STEP 1 in English.
STEP 3 Listen and Speak: Listen to the MP3 and speak along.
Fill in the blanks and check what I said.
STEP 4 Speak English for 30 seconds: Look at the Korean words and try to translate them into English.
If you write it yourself, you will remember it longer.

{OUTPUT script and expression summary}
I've organized the script and expression explanations for the OUTPUT section. The expressions to fill in the blanks in STEP 3 are underlined in the script.
