Description
Book Introduction
To commemorate the special anniversary year of “Laudato Si’” (May 24, 2020 – May 24, 2021), the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea has published a revised edition (second edition) of “Laudato Si’” after gathering various opinions and refining the Korean translation of the first edition (first edition) published in September 2015.

On May 24, 2015, Pope Francis issued the encyclical “Laudato Si’” on caring for the Earth, our “common home” with all of God’s creatures, causing a stir around the world.
In the midst of the global pandemic of COVID-19, the prophetic message of the encyclical Laudato Si', which serves as the foundation for ecological conversion and action, seems more important than ever.

The revised Korean edition of the encyclical will serve as a compass, providing spiritual and moral direction and guidance not only for Catholics but also for all people living on this earth, on their shared journey toward a sustainable world overflowing with consideration, fraternity, and peace.
