The final challenge words

Into the book
This book is not only for traditional leaders, but also for very 'ordinary' people.
They believe that their world needs change.
But I don't know what I should do in that change, if anything.
Maybe you're concerned about your child's behavior or feel like something in your family is "off track."
Perhaps the current state of your neighborhood, city, or even your country is constantly on your mind.
Perhaps you feel that your church or denomination has strayed from its original mission and needs fundamental adjustment.
The performance of the company you work for may fall far short of expectations.

The key to leadership is people choosing to make change.
Leadership isn't flashy.
No need for eloquence or dramatic action.
A leader is someone who makes the place where you live, work, study, and worship better.
Now more than ever, the world needs leaders.

Being in a leadership position in a Christian organization does not automatically make you a spiritual leader.
Conversely, just because you work in a regular job doesn't mean you can't become a spiritual leader.
Spiritual leadership is not a job, it is a calling.
Christians, whether businessmen, doctors, educators, politicians, or parents, should all be spiritual leaders.

From pages 24-25
An online poll conducted by USA Today asked, “If you won the lottery, would you quit your job right away?”
Looking at people's responses, 45.4 percent said "of course," 18.9 percent said "probably," and only 10.9 percent said "not at all."
Clearly, the majority of people work purely for the income, not out of a sense of calling.
As many people today would agree, being a leader is not fun.
For Christian leaders, there is an added burden of knowing that they are not only disappointing people, but also disappointing God.
They feel guilty because they don't believe they can develop the organization.

Is there any hope for leaders who fail to experience fulfillment or reach their God-intended potential? When God calls people to leadership, He has a plan.
Knowing His plan enables innovation for today's Christian leaders.

From page 46
If we break the principles of human relationships established by God in the workplace, disaster will soon strike.
Whether in church or at work, Jesus Christ is the Lord of all Christians.
Isn't the Kingdom of God the rule of God that governs all areas of life, including the church, home, workplace, and neighborhood?
If we overlook this truth and consider business and politics separately, we are inviting danger.

The problem with this society is not simply a lack of leaders.
A greater deficiency is the lack of leaders who understand and practice Christian leadership principles.
There is a dire shortage of great leaders.
We need leaders who know how to apply their faith not only in the Bible study room but also in the conference room.
For business executives, politicians, teachers, lawyers, doctors, and parents, Jesus condensed this truth into these words:
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33).

First, people hate change in themselves.
The gold plate on the chain worn by the dreaded King Henry VIII had these words engraved on it:
“I would rather die than change my mind,” said Sir Francis Bacon of Henry’s daughter, Queen Elizabeth, “she loved peace and hated change.”
The reason it's difficult to change an organization is because you have to convince people to change on their own.
Robert Quinn said, “Organizational change always begins with individual change.”
For an organization to grow, people must let go of some of their old attitudes, behaviors, positions, and comforts.
But it is not easy to discard or adjust it.
The reason people are so resistant to change is not because they can't bear to see the organizations they love change, but because they are unwilling to adjust themselves for the sake of the organization.

Are you the leader God seeks? Are you the kind of leader people want to follow? Our entire society is suffering from the absence of leaders and the lack of leadership.
As leaders from all walks of life, especially religious leaders, fell into various corruption and scandals, respect and trust in 'leaders' rapidly collapsed.
For those who are wondering exactly what the problem is and where to start to correct it, a book has been published that corrects the distorted concept of a "spiritual leader" and provides a clear explanation of what it means for a Christian to live as a spiritual leader.
A revised and expanded edition of "Spiritual Leadership," which became a hit immediately after its publication in 2001 and has since become a steady seller.

In the decade since the first edition of this book was published, through 2011, the authors have seen God work dramatically among leaders, especially pastors, corporate CEOs, military chaplains, school administrators, and prayer group leaders.
The authors traveled to numerous countries and met with world leaders from various fields, and they incorporated the valuable lessons they learned there and the changes of the past decade into this revised and expanded edition.
Each chapter has been significantly revised, with new examples inserted and a significant number of contemporary leadership issues addressed, with two important new chapters added.
Additionally, a "Spiritual Leadership Notes" section is included at the end of each chapter, helping readers not only read the book but also assess their own leadership skills and apply what they've learned in real-world situations.

A person who is determined to bring about change in the organization!
Spiritual leadership that sees the times and changes the flow of the field!

Among the countless leadership books lining bookstore shelves, what significance does this book hold? The author is concerned about the practice of churches and Christians who, rather than discovering leadership principles in the revealed Word of God, pursue leadership materials based on worldviews.
It is dangerous to set and follow life's principles and rules according to the constantly changing trends of the world.
This book provides a thorough, "biblically based" guide to how Christian leaders in the world should use their time, influence people, implement organizational change, cultivate character traits that people want to follow, build teams, pursue a vision, and make choices and decisions.
We also encourage and comfort leaders who are already practicing this principle in the field.

From the smallest unit, the family, to every organization, there must be a leader and followers.
Furthermore, there are ‘leaders of leaders’ who lead leaders.
Even now, there are many leaders who are struggling and cannot confide in anyone.
Is there hope for these countless leaders who feel like they are to blame for the organization's failures, who hesitate to quit immediately because they want to make a living, who hesitate because they fear they will not be able to make it in their new positions, who live in despair, carrying the heavy burden of disappointing not only those under them but even the Lord?
This book will serve as a valuable guide for leaders who are grappling with these concerns, church leaders, Christian leaders in companies, public institutions, and various organizations who actively play a leadership role in various sectors of society (not just CEOs, but also team leaders, managers, and department heads, and other heads of organizations), and aspiring leaders.

Above all, become a spiritual leader who walks with God! Become a Christian leader who lives out your faith in the real world! Embrace it not as a position, but as a calling! Now, put aside your doubts and frustrations and move forward straight ahead, following God's calling!
