Book Introduction
Stroll through a small town in western Japan, filled with a tranquil atmosphere.

An alley lined with quaint wooden houses where time seems to have stopped,
A toy-like Totoro bus running through a village filled with old stories,
A simple hot spring bath and a bowl of udon to welcome weary travelers,
A trip away from the big city and discovering the real Japan

32 small cities in western Japan that sparkle like hidden gems,

Let's go into that simple and leisurely scenery!

There are many small Japanese towns that are not well known to Korean travelers, but are incredibly beautiful when you look closely.
Quaint, charming, and each with its own unique character, Japan's small towns tempt travelers tired of famous tourist destinations.
The author compiled information about each region based on his own travel records from over ten years to create a book that will be helpful to travelers who wish to explore small Japanese cities.
We meticulously recorded the stories introduced on the information boards at each tourist attraction and the historical data introduced on local government websites, and also participated in tours led by local guides to capture vivid stories.
In addition, we wanted to help readers by providing detailed information on how to get to the local area and travel courses, as well as basic travel information.
